    Where can I get powder coating stripper and bare metal stripper? I heard this is what’s mostly used.
    Also I seen there is a vacuum detailing kit made for power coating, do you know where I can find all this? Hopefully won’t take my other arm, and more flesh as I left some over seas

    How much do you guys charge for 2-tone white black (2) 20” (2) 19” rims

    good result for a dual volt. Mine protests when an area larger than a coin is to be colored

      Thank you. We still use it every now and then because it's perfect for small things that are pretty much flat, and it doesn't take much to clean. On something like this it stops us from having to constantly change colors.

      Hi tried to paint some large rims with many shapes, had to give up. I saw one of your videos where you recommended a KF-X1, so I ordered one from China, very happy with it@@710performance

    are they aluminum and what was used after they were stripped? Just go straight to the powder coat?

    • @710performance
      @710performance  Рік тому

      Yes they are aluminum. Strip, out-gas, blast, coat

    Instead of red, if this is silver shiny and purple color for black then much better I guess but some people like this way.

    Makes it look easy. Wonder why the powder coating shops charge so much to do this. Got told well there’s extra prep and more masking and by the time we get into materials we’re looking at almost $400/wheel. 🙄

    • @710performance
      @710performance  2 роки тому +1

      Yep that sounds about right. People don’t take into effect the time to do it, the materials and most importantly the knowledge to do it. Not to mention thousands spent on equipment.

    Rims look decent, but not sandblasting them after chemical stripping is hack work.

    • @710performance
      @710performance  3 роки тому +1

      You can do either and be professional. These wheels were blasted. We wire brushed them to get the rest of what the stripper didn’t get off as we need a more powerful blaster. I mentioned that we blasted them in the video. But thanks for your opinion. 👍

      I made sure to do the faces really well and where the tire will rest. The inside barrels and outside barrels I went over to give it a gripping texture while also cleaning it up. All and all they have a warranty for chipping and flaking!
