What a talented guitarist. I haven't been that into someone's playing in a good while. Great review! Tried one of these Reapers not really expecting anything and was completely blown away. One of those guitars that just spoke to me.
I don't how to play a 7string, but tried the reaper 7, I think it had schecter decimator pups, just like 6string version. This guitar sounded SO good, it blew me away. Each note was crisp amd smooth at the same time, clean or heavy. And I think I played it through the boss katana 50 which is a solid state (so I know it will amazing through s good tube amp), so I'm def going to buy the fixed bridge 6string version. Also, the schecter CR-6 with Apocalypse pups wasn't that great to me initially, I thought it sounded thin, until I plugged it into a tube Blackstar HT-40 and was blown away how articulate and well rounded it sounded as well. So I'm literally thinking of just getting these 2 guitars.i think with the Blackstar ht-40, cr-6, and reaper-7 would be a complete guitarist's package....and a boss metal zone, Lol. Jk.

Really good product demo. I like that you played a lot of versatile styles on it, to not just demonstrate it's heavy metal consistent attributes, but also shared the capabilities with a clean playing style. Looks like a great instrument. I used to play mostly only heavy metal etc in the past, now days I enjoy trying to lean jazz and tap into that genera. I am contemplating picking up a new guitar and and hoping to find the best of both worlds all in one.

Just 2 days ago I bought another high end guitar and I'll tell you right now it'll probably not feel no where near as good as this does... This is a guitar you want to get as quickly as you can... I'm in love... They had to pry it from my hands to get me up to the counter to pay LoL... This guitar is effortless great weight, great balance, sounds amazing... I'm going back to get 1 or 2 more and i'm not kidding. I want many of these to get me through the years.

In the last year or two I've sold almost every other brand guitar I own for Schecter guitars. Their build quality and price for included features is second to none. They not only have great metal guitars, but also vintage inspired instruments as well as some offbeat designs. Yep, I'm now a fan boy 🤷
Very nice neck it's a thin C shape it feels great. I was about to buy a fender vintera telecaster 60's but I prefer the way it sound in rock/metal/pop. Plus it makes you look cool on stage.

Got a schecter Damien elite 6 with active emgs 85 81, then I tested a schecter research c6, awesome guitar, now this guitar looks badass, replace the pickups with some DiMarzio super distortion and supertone,,, and I’ll be set
sounds like reverb, with more wet than dry, with some resonant notch EQing in the higher end, with some subtle delay as well, hopefully that will help you get closer.
I'm currently looking at saving for a custom fender, but I have my eyes on this reaper in the brown, but cannot decide if I do get one to for th fr version of the fr-s version . Problem nowadays there's too much to choose from, kid in a candy shop scenario 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Is it me or the fret edges seem way rounder than on official Schecter website pictures? Looks round like on Ibanez Premium/Prestige models or Suhr guitars. I hope they didn't make a fret job on those guitars before making this video... that would be cheap shot!
So can someone tell me what the differences between hellraiser, banshee and reaper are? I'm trying to find a guitar but don't know which one. I need an allrounder for recording through bias.
Unfortunately, the product is not as good as on this demo. First of all, it definitely has amazing sound, especially clean or with slight overdrive. I had tried 4 instances of this guitar: 2 FR and 2 without. All of them has the same issues: 6-5-4 strings jingling all the time. Whatever I try to configure with fretboard shape, and the string's level (I assume that 2.5mm should be enough). Very disappointing performance and the worst thing is that this jingle easily comes to the amp/recording :( Also I've always found some issues on the frets or varnishing I fought myself really hard to get rid of idea of having this guitar but can't stay with 800euro guitar of this quality Sorry, my English is not really good :)

Only the reaper 6 version is a hardtail. The reaper fr has a Floyd Rose and the Reaper FRS has a Floyd rose and a sustainiac

Just nichol standard frets. Higher end schecters have SS frets.

Schecter has been known to give all of their slightly higher end/flagship models some custom shop treatment before they ever get sold.

Go for a Jackson X series soloists or if u can the pro series SL 2.
