This is my favorite guitar of the year tbh. I’ve come across probably 30 guitars this year and played probably well over a 100, and with all things considered, this guitar really shined through for me, it was unbelievably comfortably, it looks great and QC was right, the stock pups sound great, and all for a great price. I avoided Schecter for many years, and it’s obvious to me now that I was wrong to do that.

Saw this guitar at my local guitarcenter in the Green finish and it really looked sick. I think i like this blue one even better, just need to save a bit more bread and find the 7 string one ❤ great vids man, been subbed to you for about a year now. Enjoy your input
These aren’t my kind of guitars but I just read into it, all the specs say the burl top adds massively to the tone...is it not a veneer? In all honestly (genuinely curious) can a thin veneer actually effect tone?
I cannot see how it could possibly affect anything other than the appearance on a guitar of this design, it’s not doing anything structural, the bridge isn’t mounted to it, the pickups aren’t mounted to it, the neck isn’t mounted to it and it looks far too thin to be a factor in holding the string tension. That said, having not done any testing myself I’ll refrain from saying it absolutely doesn’t affect tone, suffice to say that I’m highly sceptical.
Id like to hear a comment to the contrary. If there is, i bet on a fixed bridge only. If it were a recurve bow, I could understand how a veneer could affect tension and compression, more bc of the epoxy than the veneer itself.🤔🤔🤔
I have a reaper 6. The base model with decimators and no FR. It's one of my favorite guitars ever. I put some nazgu/sentiments that I had in another guitar in it. So the floyd’s difference is the pop in bar and the softer metals have been replaced with better harder metal to prevent cross threads and last longer etc, you can tell which parts are upgraded as they are silver
The Floyd rose 1500 is basically the Floyd rose 1000 but the parts that normally mangle more easily are upgraded to steel. That's what the silver parts are. BTW A super cool guitar there. Now I've got the problem of whether I want the thicker but bolt on neck of a sun valley or the thinner set neck of this.
