- Killy Loop ACW @ Killingworth
The trip started at the campground and followed to the start of the loop. It was an awesome day (and night) to spend with friends, fellow 4WD enthusiasts. The terrain was moist in many places, but we tackled some really hard stuff there in a good range of vehicles:
- Toyota Land Cruiser LC80
- Land Rover Discovery
- Nissan Patrol Y61 GU4
- Nissan Patrol Y61 GU
- Jeep Wrangler Sport JK

Luv the cars....!
Luv the driving.....!
Luv the teamwork.....! 👍😊
Thanks mate 👍 Glad you liked it.
The videos back then were so great: no annoying music or excessive comments, no hyper exaggerated internet personalities, just pure action!
The 80 is out of this worldly beautiful.
the 80 needs lockers, but is otherwise a fine looking rig :)
It was awsome meeting you guys and getting to wheel with you all. Great bunch of blokes.
Thanks mate 👍👍👍 You too guys.
video's do not do it justice of how this track really is.. we live nearby so we take our trucks out there every day since we are kids and these tracks out Killy can change in a matter of days and are so steep you don't realize how steep these tracks are.. sometimes I think I'm going to die out there! Haha. Sometimes the tracks leans to the right and it's wet and the truck starts to slide towards the edge of the track and it's basically the edge of a cliff. And sometimes the track itself just errodes and there will be car sized gaps missing from parts along corners sitting a telegraph pole height above below.. I don't even know how we made it. Personally I found parts of Awaba to be even more dangerous then Killy.. But either place your not going to feel safe for the whole day bahahahaha..
Thanks for sharing your insights with all of us on here mate 👍 that's awesome.
@@AussieFourWheelers all good man. These days I just play out medowie and wallaro but the army trucks come threw and haha.. I'm trying to find on maps to get from the scone entrance of barrington tops to the dungog entrance like lady's well or something. That would be mint man all day trip straight threw the guts of the barrington tops and make it winter so it's snowing!! Do you know the way?
Sounds good mate, but I've only been through there once, so not familiar with the area.
That patrol is always tough and looks tough. That 80 is toyotas finest moment and that landrover sounds like a beast. Great video!
Thank you very much for leaving a comment 👍 Glad you liked the video.
Always gnarly wheeling by you guys, that jeep on the flex, ooft!
Looking to head here after lockdown!
That Disco driver is crazy!!!
I enjoy all this slow techie driving. Thanks for vid
Glad you enjoyed it mate ☺ Thanks for watching.
Some nice technical wheeling fellas. Love it. Wish we had Nissan patrols here in the states.
Glad you liked it 👍 We wish you had the Patrols too, we'd have heaps more aftermarket options.

Thank you very much 👍 Glad you liked it.
Some great flexes and challenges. Would like to do something like this one day.
Thanks mate 👍 All it takes is a fourby and some good company. Enjoy!
I have a 2014 Jeep cherokee (can see on my channel) with a 1.5" lift and 32" tires... rear locking diff... but I have independent suspension :( Lot's of 3 wheeling.
that patrol at 28.00 that flex: -)
Yeah, drops 37s below the sill ☺
Another amazing video!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
hi, awesome vid fellas and nice rigs! what engin did the Patrols have 3.0 or 4.2?
Shaq Johnson Thanks mate. Both Patrols had the TB48 engine in them.
Finally I don't need to wait for another video This time
Thought the green disco was going to pop something, bout 1/4 way into the vid. Harsh. That rear bar on the 80 is a killer.
What makes you think that?
that Rover V8 sound just killed me
😂 why?
Because is beautiful
It sure is 😉
Ah I wish we could get the good Land Cruisers here in the U.S. !!!
Thought they do have them over there 😲
Not anymore! Well, only a luxury 200 series for $84k ($115k AUD), and no diesel. No 70 :(
awesome videos boyz 💣💥
Thanks bud 👍

What size tyres are on the disco? 32 or 33s? Cheers great video guys
Thanks bud 👍 Glad you liked it. The Disco was running 33s.
How cool the wheel spinning inside the tire at 35:45
Bloody hell wouldn't have noticed unless you said. That will be out of balance lol
+rodrigo silveira 😂😂😂
yeah, needs some bead lockers :) This is an awesome local loop, though i've normally attacked it on an enduro bike. nice video!
stryder23 Thanks mate 👍
22.11 climb, now that was scary
That's actually got plenty of grip, the climb before it (Commodore Hill) is heaps more scarier.
Hey guys, quick question. I'm thinking about upgrading my 80 with FlexiCoils. Any thoughts? I've got some high lift 4" springs at home that came wth the car but thought maybe the flexicoils would be better since they give stacks of stretch.
Flexi coils are there only so they remain in place, without falling out. I'd rather proper rated coils with drop-out cones and coil retainers.
Good video! Guys good ride! Say what size tires BFGoodrich 80 Cruiser?
Think 33s
I love off-roading but it kind of makes no sense. I look at these courses and how hard it is for a vehicle to make it through it, and the first thing that comes to mind is " wow i could walk up that so easily".
We also love walking.
Aussie Four Wheelers (Hemi4WD) Hardcore off-road walking?
+G9 Music Trekking
G9 Music same
***** Why did you +1 your own comment?
Things are easier with Jeep... Cheers from Costa Rica.
the other cars look like heavily modified and make so much noise but the jeep just does it with ease and less noise, elegant off-roading.
Everybody thinks so, except Toyofans... lol. Cheers from Costa Rica.
Landcruiser also reliable and great for touring, can you say that about a jeep ?
@@jcproductions007 I´m not who says what a Jeep is. Most of authorized experts around the world are who say Jeeps are the best 4x4 vehicles in the industry, even in Australia, where many people love them: ua-cam.com/video/qL_CgwjKX_g/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/YLr6NrW0QD4/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/L5AWZvB1FuU/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/QNs0tSSe10M/v-deo.html. And when they want to convert a 4x4 vehicle into a better one, they choose... yes, Jeep: ua-cam.com/video/YLr6NrW0QD4/v-deo.html. And when a Toyota gets stuck, yes, a Jeep is ready to rescue it: ua-cam.com/video/EKnA94NHpa0/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/LnnY9RK5Xdg/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/bNlLnFjP_7Q/v-deo.html. Mateo Montalbano

D1 - 33s
GU4 - 37s
GU - 35s
JK - 33s
Thanks!! its very hard to guess in the video because you see one car at a time.... I thought the D1 and LC80 where on 33´s, and the rest on 35´s.... Great video as always!!
First
how much lift and what sizes tyres are on the 80
Think it was a 4".lift, running 35s.
What is the tire size and lift hight of the silver patrol? Nice vid!!
37s and 8" ☺ Thanks for watching 👍 Glad you liked it.
did the green one have lockers
Yes
were is the access point Road name would be great
Don't know the road name, but you go under the freeway then turn left at the junction and across the creek, then follow that road to the loop.
jelrk

Bit hairy 😲

Great video
Thanks 👍 Glad you liked it.
