Perfect boss music for when me and my crew claimed it 1 hour after the update was out. never thought that sinking 3 crews with skelly curses would be that easy.
My brigantine crew fought tooth and nail with all our supplies on launch day to not only defeat the NPC Burning Blade but also fend off a horde of sloops who came in to attack. We went to claim it, when one of us got 1 shotted by a blunderbuss, letting a rival sloop claim the Burning Blade (seriously though, they couldn't make it a majority vote instead of an all crew vote?). Next day, we formed an impromptu alliance armada consisting of 3 sloops and our brigantine against a player Burning Blade. We did not sink it lmao. Turns out we were all terribly undersupplied. So yeah, event good, season good, game good.
Today me and my crew tried to vibe and do a tall tale and just have fun. We then spotted the blade sailing towards us so we all rush back to ship, expect one who got the loot, we prepped the ship and began sailing. We then had to sail around and out manoeuvre it for an hour straight while we do port pass by's to sell everything before then taking the fight where the 2 remaining ship joined us in the fight(though we had a new player on our galleon, and the 2 others were sloops so we lost). Much more fun than a normal tall tale and skelly quest
I really like this track because it kind of highlights the ambiguity of Flameheart's past, the Orb described him as having "mournful eyes" and it really makes you wonder what emotion is truly fueling Flameheart's rage and WHY he's doing what he's doing. Why is his theme, "Who Shall Not Be Returning," the theme for loss? Parts of this track sound almost sad, not overbearing. The Orb's last piece of dialogue suggests that Flameheart want's to live forever, but why? He is an unforgivable warmonger, but why? June 20 "He sat alone. Ash, embers and flame, reflected in his mournful eyes. The hearth's fire burned coldly." July 18 "Destiny for these seas was set in lands far from here. These seas of fortune ever demand a transformation. Of flesh. Of bone. Of land. Of life. Of Death. The only way to survive eternally is through transformation. To be a King." We got a small glimpse into his past from an outside perspective, but what happened in the time it skipped over? why is he so angry?

There should be a mechanic so that if it detects you running, Your skeleton crew mutiny’s on you and you lose the burning blade
@@Poipl_isnt_realIts called surviving. Your supplies are finite and you cant be fighting 3 sloops and a galleon infinitely

Based. My first time fighting it we won, but then a solo-slooper had swam onto the boat and took it and then sank us. Still mad about that.
That's rough man. Hope you get it next time.
I don't know if you were that Galleon Crew but if yes, sorry again😢
the OST might be my favourite inthis game, this is so well written
