I got the game for free from EPIC and I was like...yeah cool building game and all....then I first rebuilt a monument and I started to sing, a lone dwarf and when the choir came in i had to hush my wife away like: Shut up I have to listen to this cause its epic...an every time this song came back I was in awe, like there is no going back now I have to restore the city...I finished the game today after 77 hours of gameplay and here I am at 4 in hte morning listening to this 7th times in a row...

The Illuminate's music so different from the other factions that it gives me a sense of inferiority against them, and since this is the theme for their heavy class, the elite's music will probably give them even more of a sense of superiority than this.

The city is speaking tripod and that ain't good at all

Used to think Illuuminate theme wasn't very Helldivers 2 but it has grown on me

when you turn the wrong corner and hear the first massive bass drop with a harvester standing right infront of you the street ahead

I love how...non-robotic their voice lines are. It'd be easy to keep them uniform and robotic for thematic coherency and still get across that they're thinking, feeling beings. But they swear, they scream in range, they have their quirks and cadences. Like this, "Cyberstan, can't keep her down." Personifying a planet as a feminine, perhaps motherly figure is such an organic thing to do. It shows how advanced they are. They're smart as any all-knowing learning algorithm, but with the capability for emotion of a human. Terrifying, and beautiful in an odd way.

Now imagine they take over mars, then directly attack super earth just for the sake of the War of the worlds reference of coming from mars... What are the chances?

Fighting for the Creek was worth it. Never regretted the choice to drop. When others fought on easier fronts. I chose to drop. I fight for the Creek. The bots will never take it back. Not again.

2:15 hearing this surrounded by enemies is one of the best feelings we can get playing the game.

Not so fun fact: Harvesters are (lightly) affected by the Arc Thrower and when you ping them your diver calls them “Heavy”. On difficulty 3 there are missions where you need to eliminate just Harvesters Also on D3 on other planets, there are missions to kill Hulks or Chargers, meaning Harvesters are on their level The fact that the Illuminate’s Hulk/Charger equivalent is strong enough for a SPECIAL THEME means that we might be done for when they bring out their Bile Titan/Factory Strider equivalent
