The Custard in those creampuffs are divine!, The fact its so close to the Ghibli Museum it makes such a good day trip. They say superpotato has gone down hill a bit since there online store opened because the physical store would have less stuff but HECK does it still look good in your video!
So glad to see you guys are back in my favorite place on earth. I swear youtube hasnt been serving me your videos lately, I actually went to your channel to see whats new and realized how much ive missed. The one upside to that is now I have a great back log to watch. You cant beat those egg salad sandwiches, and I have no idea why we dont have the same type of foods in the states. I wanna go to Japan so bad, so I get excited when I see your Japan videos! The Samurai Resturaunt Time has been on my list of things to do for awhile. Glad to see someone make a video about it. I also wanna go to the Muscle Girl Muscle Bar. You can pay the girls to lift you up like a Shrine or you can even pay them fo slap you.
Yes I agree with this! I would love to visit Japan but I would be so scared bc the langue difference and not knowing anything but they make it look so easy.

Peter is great at providing information that matters; such as, money exchange apps, subway phone apps and how they work after your phone dies, making the most of a day with his itinerary, etc. Bottom Line, some people would never dream of doing what they have bravely adventured in; and those of us that are here, we watch because they are visiting China, Japan, Hong Kong and simply making great US Disney Trips look amazing. For example; some people would never even consider visiting Disney Sea if they took a vacation to Japan, but us watching would! I think we would love to “Copy and Paste” their trips and would be totally satisfied. We don’t want to think about a trip to Japan; just simply say, “I’ll have what they are having.”

Kitra, you’re a rock star, lady. Just sayin. I’m giving you a virtual hug. Peter…..egg salad from a 7-11. I have no words.🤣 I love you guys. My husband and I were talking about how far you guys have come. We adored you from the start, but your quality ramps every video.

I’m not sure if it’s frowned upon or not. Most places in touristy areas I think will have American utensils if you ask but you usually just made due with whatever we were given. Sometimes that included forks haha
@@OrdinaryAdventures you both seem to do great with chop sticks, I was impressed with eating the ramen noodles with them. ☺I thought it might be considered rude too if you don't use them. Thank you. 😁
There are tons of places open for breakfast. Cafe Gusto, Royal Host, Jonathon's, Matsuya, Sukiya, Cafe Doutour, Excelsior Cafe, Komedi coffee, McDonald's or go to a Kissaten.
Well done both of you. Another wonderful video. My partner, and I are off to Japan next year. Please could you name all the phone apps you couldn't live without while over there?

Next time you go to Japanland I highly suggest the Ninja Restaurant. Its themed and so so cool, plus the food is GOOD. Kinda of expensive but honestly worth it.
We actually went to the ninja restaurant in New York City before we started vlogging and I think it’s basically the same thing. It was a fun experience
Another retro games and anime spot to visit is Nakano Broadway. Its a really cool spot. Ordinary shops, restaurants at the bottom/ entry floor and second floor of retro stuff :D
Hi! This is not meant to be rude, but have you thought about seeing what your hotel has for breakfast? I’ve not stayed at that exact hotel, but the breakfast at the Cerulean in Shibuya is to die for. You can also see if they take non-staying guests there. It can get pricy, but we make breakfast one of our biggest meals of the day. In general, most Japanese people eat breakfast either at home or if on vacation eat at their hotel, which is why there is less of a market for breakfast places. If you want to splurge, Satsuki at the New Otani and the Sal Viking at the Imperial are super famous breakfast buffets that take non guests. Again, they’re not cheap, but you turn them into one of your biggest meals of the day and they are both experiences. The sandwich bread is different because it contains dairy and eggs vs. the average white bread in the US. You would need to compare Japanese sandwich bread to brioche bread to get closer to a direct comparison. I personally am only so fond of Japanese sandwich bread because I find it too rich. If you’re not eating there, there is a branch of Shiro-hige’s in Kichijoji. It’s not as cute, but especially coming from Shibuya, it’s a direct train. It is also possible to go there before or after visiting the museum, since you can walk to from Kichijoji Station. Kichijoji use to have an exclusive rum raisin cat bus sandwich cookie which was better than any of the cream puffs, but I don’t think it came back post Covid. I don’t even like rum raisin and thought it was spectacular. I personally prefer the regular cookies to the cream puffs. They last for a week or so, so can be transported home or gifted more easily. Super Potato is a little overpriced. There are other gaming shops with better prices. Don’t give up on looking for your game, but expect it to be popular and expensive because older Nintendo games are super high demand right now and buying for resale is definitely a thing.
The bento box heats a lot like an MRE the military uses. There’s a water activated charcoal or magnesium/iron mixture under the food portion that mixes when you pull the string creating a boiling water. Like a hand warmer but hotter.
Awesooome viiiid as always! See im weird i just enjoy 7-11 no matter what. The ones around me are actually really nice BUT I still wish they would do more with 7-11 like they do in Tokyo, I dont see why it couldn't work over here 😅 That samurai restaurant show was so cool I loved it! You guys make me laugh and I live through yall since I cant do much!! Keep being awesome you two🎉
Just an fyi…don’t watch the part with samurai show when you have the flu and are spiking a fever. Man that was a trip! Put fever dream at a whole new level! 😂
Hi 👋 again. I just saw from another UA-cam channel that in Japan 🇯🇵, it just opened a Super Nintendo World Donkey Kong Country. Try to find out how to get from NISHIKUJO Station to Universal City Station.
Greetings from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. As I saw from UA-cam, the UA-camr who went there just days ago indicated that it was very crowded. Try again the next day. Good luck 🤞 and have fun 🤩
Did you happen to see any copies of Adventures of Lolo while browsing original NES games? Been looking for that literally forever! And now you know that I’m even older than you are, Peter! 😂
Familymart entered the Los Angeles market a few years back. They had at one point about 10 stores called Famina. They sold onigiri's, Japanese drinks and candy and a hot box with chicken and steamed buns. It lasted 5 years and they left. I had a friend that managed the Santa Monica location.
my 711 must have are egg sando, boiled egg, cafe latte, tuna mayo onigiri , energy jellies and obsessed with the packed apple somehow it soooo yummy and sweet. will be back this feb 2025 for my bday so excited !

7-11 needs to bring that Japanese experience to the US. I always watch these vids about 7-11 there and think how could it not work in America?
I don’t understand why they don’t
When in Asia always try to book next to a 7-11 and shop at Don Q

Love your cinematic shots, which camera and lens did you use on this trip? I agree the Totoro cream puffs are the best!
We primarily use the Sony a7s3 with the 16-35mm 2.8 gm lens. It’s an amazing camera but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a video professional as it’s expensive, complicated and big/heavy. But it can produce some amazing images.

Super Potato is a little overpriced. There are other gaming shops with better prices. Don’t give up on looking for your game, but expect it to be popular and expensive because older Nintendo games are super high demand right now and buying for resale is definitely a thing.
Oh we know our hotel serves breakfast. But we are not in Japan to eat a boring hotel breakfast. I want to eat interesting and famous Japanese food.
Oh and thanks for all the tips
The bento box heats a lot like an MRE the military uses. There’s a water activated charcoal or magnesium/iron mixture under the food portion that mixes when you pull the string creating a boiling water. Like a hand warmer but hotter.
Very cool
Awesooome viiiid as always!
See im weird i just enjoy 7-11 no matter what. The ones around me are actually really nice BUT I still wish they would do more with 7-11 like they do in Tokyo, I dont see why it couldn't work over here 😅

We agree 7-11 in Japan is on another level!
18:41 what is that adorable contraption? It’s so cute and I need one ❤
Haha it’s a little animatronic that they have to convince you to play the games in the store. I don’t think they sell them though
If you guys liked the dipping ramen, you should try tsujita ramen! They have locations in California, there are some in LA I know for a fact!
Thanks got the tip
Peter! You HAVE to try the Welch's Grape Juice. I have one everyday when im there. Sometimes 2! Its so different than US grape juice.

Hi 👋 again. I just saw from another UA-cam channel that in Japan 🇯🇵, it just opened a Super Nintendo World Donkey Kong Country.
Try to find out how to get from NISHIKUJO Station to Universal City Station.
Wish we got to go to donkey Kong but it wasn’t open when we were there
Greetings from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. As I saw from UA-cam, the UA-camr who went there just days ago indicated that it was very crowded. Try again the next day. Good luck 🤞 and have fun 🤩
I noticed They have a lot of unique store and foods down Tokyo
Definitely. We didn’t even get through the surface of it all
Did you happen to see any copies of Adventures of Lolo while browsing original NES games? Been looking for that literally forever! And now you know that I’m even older than you are, Peter! 😂
😂 sorry we didn’t look for that one
We really need the Japanese 7-11 experience here in California. Just think of the possibilities - endless enjoyment.
Familymart entered the Los Angeles market a few years back. They had at one point about 10 stores called Famina. They sold onigiri's, Japanese drinks and candy and a hot box with chicken and steamed buns. It lasted 5 years and they left. I had a friend that managed the Santa Monica location.
I wish
The Robot Show was amazing in a very cheeses sort of way. I went in 2018 and then went to visit the Dr Fish.

It's the Circle K that has all the sandwiches and baked goods near me. The pizza is like school pizza but it's always hot.
🤔 I doubt it’s like Japan tho
4:22 guys you can always use the trash areas within any 'combini' (convenience store). COMBINI equals atm, food, drink, alcohol, and trash... regardless of the combini store.
👍
