I INSISTED that my hairdresser color my hair “honey blonde” one time. She tried her best to talk me out of it. She did a great job, but the CLASH was a disaster. I never doubted her again.

The before and after is amazing. She looks stunning in her spring hair colour and clothing. I have fair skin with redness/pink in my face (plus blue veins, lol). It made me think I had a cool undertone though I was confused as I knew cream/ivory was better on me. White and gray make me look like a ghost. Then I was typed as a fully warm True Autumn. Now that I have replaced a lot of my clothing in palette I can really see the difference. As well, to Carol’s point about not going more than 2 levels from your hair colour at age 20: I was probably a level 4 dark brown then. For the past 5+ years I dyed my hair a level 8 or 9 warm blonde. I thought it looked ok until after my colour analysis I went to a medium warm brown. What a difference! Now I can see how bad the blonde looked in old photos. Carol really knows her stuff when it comes to colour analysis and hair colour!

I wish she took a follow up pic with no foundation on. She’s gorgeous either way, but for this it would’ve been helpful.

Carol, I was analyzed by you as a true summer in 2021 (love my true summer palette). I’m naturally blonde, and I’ve heard you say that it’s very rare for blondes to be true summer. Would you talk more about why that is? I feel like such a black sheep being a true summer with blonde hair and would love to understand more!

What type of color your natural blond hair? Strong gold hair? Scandinavian? Ashy look? Dirty blond? Would you like give me link of picture that is closest to your natural blond hair? I am curious too since indeed true summer blond hair is kind of rare 😊

I soooooo want to know what season I am. I was born with black hair and blue eyes and over time my hair lightened to a dark brown by age 3 then by age 20 medium brown. I was born with bright deep blue eyes that have gotten lighter and more Grey blue with age. I think I look better in warm reds but also silver. I have a very hard time trying to color correct all the redness in my fair/,medium skin tone because adding green turns me Grey? My favorite makeup colors are warm reds, corals, peaches, oranges, browns, silver.
Maybe I will see how much a consultation is because I'm obsessed with this for some reason and addicted to your content 😂

Im a true summer and was platinum blonde up until 14 when it turned dishwater blonde a level 7/8 . I have been highlighting and bleaching my hair since I was 14 when it turned darker. I tried going back to my natural hair color, and I absolutely hated it , I just don't look good with darker hair . I had to go back to back to my ashy platinum hair after a few weeks . I felt so drab and lost my sparkle darker hair just doesn't work for me....I gave it good try tho.

I always wonder how some of your clients arrive at their diy conclusions… If you research enough you can really learn that she has no summer qualities - not trying to shame anyone !

I think the confusion comes from the idea that you have to have “golden yellow” skin to be considered warm. Her skin has clear pink qualities. I get the confusion. I’ve even heard Carol refer to Springs as having a “golden or creamy” quality to the skin. It’s confusing.

@@CuriousJS springs often have a translucent quality to their skin. I think she looks so golden! Hair, eyes, skin. What I also learned is that people with a warm undertone usually do not have apparent under eye darkness. She is so bright under her eyes. As I said, if you research enough you might get an idea of the vibe a season has, and she is totally no summer vibe. However, she might have not researched so much. Thank you for your reply!

@@kondwira367 thanks for the comment! I wonder what you look like. I mean, it definitely happens for springs tho I recon it probably doesn‘t look like the heavy discoloration some fully cool people have. At the end the skin under the eyes is so delicate. That blue undertone has a lot of options to show up there.
