    Thanks for the great tutorial. Your style of instruction is excellent. You make me think that even being new to digital art, I can learn to create some art of my own. Keep up the great work!

    I'm loving working through your back catalogue, James. These landscapes are all lovely and all quite different, teaching me much and giving me confidence to try some without your guidance! So grateful you're not simply upselling us with new brush packs and using what's built in which for most of us must surely suffice. Would love to see a washed out pen and ink style some time, but that's my selfish request. Keep 'em coming. These bring a lot of joy to my day!

    It absolutely amazes me what can be done with a soft brush! This is a great tutorial, a nice break from sunsets/sunrises. Thanks for sharing this one and look forward to more from you! You make it look so easy and make me feel as if I actually CAN paint a landscape!

    Magical! Getting better with the airbrushes, but went to Currawong, which I also learned from you for the flowers in the front. But I stuck with the airbrushes for the clouds and learned so much. Just can't get round dots on my own.

    That's great ! Thank you ! You asked for suggestions of what we'd like to see in the future so : I'd love to get an other waterfall tutorial. I tried to follow your old waterfall tutorial but in these days, the quality of your videos was not HD lol, and you explain today better I think. I didn't manage to pursue the old tutorial to the end. So I'd love a new waterfall tutorial : I love waterfalls.

    Since you indicated you'd like suggestions for future stuff I'd love to see how you implement more extreme angles (and how perspective plays into those), more detailed textures, masks, other brushes, and other blending modes. I'm guessing you don't want to get too deep into the software to keep your channel accessible but I'm very curious how you'd present those concepts. I liked when you used the acrylic wet paint brush for a tutorial instead of the usual airbrushes.

    Another great tutorial. I’ll attempt to recreate it and share with you on Instagram.
    Have you thought about doing a short video about learning how to use reference images to practice clouds and trees and mountains. Any tips to know what limits to stay within as a beginner. I tend to try to paint realistic types and get frustrated when I can’t get things to look exactly correct from a photograph.

      PS the audio of hearing the tap tap tap of the pencil are good because it gives more guidance when you’re lifting the pencil or dragging it.

    I am being forced to pull the trigger on the iMac Pro at the end of the month because of inflation. How much storage do you have on yours please? I will have my iMac 14 paid off by end of the month. great video. have you ever used a layer from one painting to another. like a basic shape to say mountains or trees?

    James, thanks for all the great tutorials. I’ve got a problem with colors though. I download the swatch and put it into procreate, but it doesn’t seem like they match the video. On my iPad everything looks way less saturated, compared to the video. Do you think it could do something with your postproduction?

    • @JamesJulier-Artist
      @JamesJulier-Artist  2 роки тому +2

      It’s not post production, it’s my camera that oversaturated the colours. The image I show at the start and at the end represent the real colours

  • @andycullen9311
    @andycullen9311 2 роки тому

    Does anyone know a way to easily import these color palettes into Krita? I've been following along with a few of these so far by manually entering in each color code to create a palette, but that's getting tedious, and the .swatches files that James shares won't import into Krita.
