Today, four years ago, I ordered mine from Amazon. Fast forward to now, and it still is on my counter cooking everything wonderfully. Because of the performance I stuck with Cosori and very pleased with their products.
Thanks for Watching! Enjoy!
Hi Tom, I'm glad you showed how many wings can fit at one time! Thanks for sharing! 💞
mzbrazell Thank you for Watching!
This is the single most amazing review I have watched. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for Watching Tony! appreciate the feedback
Thanks Tom, I commented on your other vid re getting this machine. After watching that vid I realized that I hadn't come across the rotisserie rod when unboxing. If I hadn't have seen your vid I would have tossed it with the boxing material. It was on the bottom of the box! Thank you! Your suggestions about spraying the basket and putting water in the drip pan are great!
k talle Thanks for watching! Congrats on the new cooker!
Those look, awesome great cook Tom.
Big John's Cooking Thanks for watching Big John!
Thanks for the review. Just ordered one.
Ellis Medavoy Thanks for watching Ellis! Congrats!
Thanks Tom for the great video! Also the ideal to add water to the drip pan.
Thanks for watching John!
This is a solid little toaster oven (I bought one on a whim to replace my well used Breville & wasn't expecting much - but boy was I surprised, lol). Mine is 2 years old & it works just as well as it did on it's first use :)
Thanks for Watching! I appreciate the feedback! Thank you!
I just replaced a Breville in 2023 with this one. I love it
Aaah -- the press and hold to override Preheat is great to know! Thanks! Also good to know it's okay to put the tray under it (it doesn't block airflow too much?). I love mine! Probably only ever use my big oven for a turkey or full sized cookie sheets....
Thanks for Watching Lori! It didn’t block the airflow too much. Thanks for the feedback!
omg!! loving this Cosori
coco ruiz Thanks for Watching Coco!
The water idea was great, kept the grease from splattering and smoking and smoking. Easy clean up.
Thanks for watching!
I’ve seen them before. I kinda wondered if it would be worth my time. I had no idea it had that many options. Thanks for the overview
MeatCranium BBQ AND REVIEW Yup! Lots of options! Thanks for Watching and supporting!
I have seen a couple people say things about splatter so I just wanted to say I made chicken legs and I layed foil on top and it worked great to keep the grease from splattering all over and I also seen to put a piece of bread on the bottom
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the tip!
good tip bout the water
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!
Wings look great Tom. Still trying to figure out where to put one of these. If I replace my toaster oven I need to see how it does on toast. Thanks.
Random Acts of Cooking Thanks Mike! I’m told it does well on toast
Always wondered if these multipurpose toaster ovens work, guess I got my answer. Thank you
Paul Dombrowski Thanks for watching Paul!
Paul Dombrowski is this the 25 L or 130
Joyce Davis Cosori 32 qt air Fryer toaster oven
love me some natures seasoning..
Jim Scharba It’s is awesome! Thanks for Watching Jim!
The water seems like a good idea, but the steam will just prevent the chicken from getting crispy. Thats probably why he ended up lifting them up to the broil rack, probably had to leave them in there for longer too.
Thanks for Watching!
I think Emeril has something like that. its like a throw-back that has been updated to do it all.
The Gallery Backyard BBQ Thanks for watching! I’m not sure if he does Tommy
Does it have a Cook mode of you always have to use a preset?
Have you used the "broil" setting yet? I have a cosorismart smart airfryer toaster oven and am anxious to use the "broil" setting for flounder filets. Can't seem to find any recipes or videos that use the broil function !
Thanks for watching Barbara! Yes I did for burgers and it made one heck of a mess with grease splatter. For fish it should work fine
I've been searching for a countertop oven with air fryer function. Most of them will have the fan staying on for baking, which will dry and burn the food on the surface without cooking through in the middle. Can the fan be tuned off in this oven? Can the light be turned off? Can you adjust the temperature and time during the cooking? Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Good questions! Yes to all of them
Hello, thank you for your demonstration. Can you buy an extra air fryer rack?
Thanks for Watching! I am not sure if you can buy an extra air fryer rack, you can try email Cosori and asking
Hi Tom, is it possible to lower the temperature for the airfry setting? There are some things where 400 is too hot, at least with my tradition air fryer.
Thanks for Watching Rich! Yes you can lower down to 200 by 5 degree increments
Hi Tom, can you tell me the best way to clean this oven? Do you recommend a portable steamer for the job?
Thanks for watching! I just use soap and water
Hey Tom, out of curiosity, was it just the fear of smoke that you didn’t just like the bottom rack with aluminum foil as opposed to water? I’m all about easy cleanup so would opt for foil myself if that works. Just bought this so trying to learn..
Thanks for Watching Brandon! The foil will work, for me it’s all about easy clean up
Hi Tom, I just made wings from raw, and there was a flame/ fire at the rear top around the heating element... what do you think happened? Did I do something wrong? I used the fry basket in the middle rack. Do you think it’s broken or unsafe? Thanks!
Thanks for Watching! I think the grease was frying and made contact with a heating element which burnt it
I want one😮❤
Tammy D Milledge Thanks For Watching Tammy!
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ you're very welcome.
how well will this work in a van conversion using solar energy or a portable power station? looking for oven-alternative. thanks
Thanks for watching! I have no idea!
How to use it? Can you put a video on how to set it up, use its features and program it? Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching! Ok
Long time ago toaster ovens started to come with rotisseries then it stopped my guess they felt convection action gave same results. Of course the need to trick people to buying new so they added rotisseries back + convection and now air fryer label. Now everyone looks at this as something new but its just more of the same
Thanks for Watching and commenting
What are the exterior outside dimensions. Interested on the air fryer but limited to space.
Thanks for Watching Pete! 20” W, 17” deep and 12” tall
Can I used a external temp probe ran to the inside to check inside meat temp.?
Thanks for Watching Larry! Yes you can!
I got this but still in box. My friend has been asking me to return it and get regular black one. Please tell me does it work well with frying chicken and patties. Also is the small black one faster and easier or this.
Thanks for Watching! Good questions! If you look only at the Air Fry function your buddy is correct the Cosori 5.8 qt is definitely faster. But if you dont have a toaster oven this thing is awesome. I can do pizza perfectly in it, cookies in it, roasted potatoes in it and a whole lot more. If an Air Fryer is all your looking for, go with the 5.8 qt Black Cosori. If you want something to use instead of your oven, go with this.
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ thanks a lot
Does the outside get screaming hot? I bought another brand convection oven and burn myself when I use it. Can you stack air fryer racks? Thanks.
Vesta McDonald It does get hot enough to burn yourself, I’ve not tried stacking for the air fryer shelves
Everything except the front of the oven gets really hot, ive grown to know not to touch anything except the dials and the handle because of this lol. The top and sides get burning hot. But I do love this device.
Hi Tom. Good stuff here. Can you clarify? Did you air fry the wings for 25 or 35 minutes? Also , how many times did you flip them over? Just bought one myself.
Thanks for Watching! 35 minutes, flipped twice
I've seen several reviews from people saying these oven types of air fryers are hard to clean, especially around the oven door area, is this one easy to clean?
Thanks for Watching! Ive cleaned mine on numerous occasions without issue. yes it does splatter when cooking on high heat like most other devices bit the inside is stainless and easy to clean
Hi Tom. Why doesn’t the light shut off after I take out my toast. It stays on quite a long time
Thanks for Watching Carol! It has a auto off, that shuts off I believe after 10 minutes
You can manually turn the light off any time too
Thanks for Watching! You are correct
How is this to clean? Also is there any smoking? Thx, TJ
Theresa Jopson Thanks for watching! Pretty easy to clean haven’t noticed any smoke yet!
Well what’s the difference between an air fryer and a regular oven Tom?
Adam M Thanks for watching Adam! Mainly the size of the unit with air fryers typically smaller and always heats with a heating element whereas a convection oven is typically bigger and can run on gas or electric and doesn’t have as much air movement with the fan as compared to an air fryer
Hi, is it safe to put under kitchen cabinet or will it get to hot?
Thanks for Watching! Consult the manufacturer by email and ask
I go this at kohls today 105 dollars plus tax on clearance. Have not tried it yet.
Congrats! Thanks for watching!
What is the rotisserie capacity? Everyone talks chicken but I like to do prime rib on rotisserie.
I did a sirlion on rotisserie the first try when I got it and it came out a perfect medium rare with the default setting, #4, but you can go lower if you like it rare or higher if you like it medium to well done. You have to make sure that the meat is sized to the rotisserie stick. I also used a skewer to make the initial hole for the skewer, just a small hole down the middle to make it easier to push the stick through the meat. I did have to adjust the skewer once because it was a little off balance when spinning. It worked out great and one of the best roast sirloin I ever made. Absolutely amazing and it was fun to watch it spin and cook perfectly.
@@davidamey7382 Wonder if the recipe book includes directions for capacity as in how large a turkey you can do. My vintage Farberware "smokeless" rotisserie can do up to 15 lbs but I try to do only 12 lbs. Rib roast bone in might be too big but should do boneless nicely. Another beef dish that is good on rotisserie is of course the filet.
Thanks for Watching! I think the feedback from others answers you question
Does Cosori have a time set up? If yes, how?
Silly question lol
Thanks for Watching! Yes there are presets for time
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ
How do I do it?
Lets see toast and rotisserie chicken.
BigDo Rack Thanks for watching! All in time....
i just bought one yesterday, let the experiments begin, but... im actually commenting on that cutting board. where did you get that. i need that lol
Thanks for Watching! Just a cheap cutting board from Walmart a couple of years ago
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ oh lol. I find it hard to find one with those deep grooves in Toronto
Ok, good luck Chris....
Is a pause button when cooking I have been able to find it
Thanks for Watching Jeremy! I wasn't aware that there was a pause button
Hey Tom, do you remember if there was excessive smoke from when you air fried the wings?
...maybe it only happens on initial fry..?
Thanks for watching! No, I’ve not had smoke when doing wings
Where did you get your 9x13 pan? Looks like it's stainless steel.
Thanks for watching! I believe Amazon
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ I've searched high and low even on Amazon and couldn't find a good stainless steel pan:(
Sorry, it was a couple of years ago, I forget where on Amazon I found it
Tom! Always enjoy your videos. What's your preference? Air fryer/toster oven? Or the more traditional air fryer? I'm torn!
Thanks for watching! They all work well! I guess I’d go with air fryer/ toaster oven
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ right on Tom, sounds good! Keep the videos coming!
how do you set the clock
Thanks for Watching! Sorry I don’t have it anymore, I think it says online or in the owners manual
What is the Ferment do on oven please explain
Thanks for Watching! Ferment?
Ferment is if you want to proof yeast dough. I believe it stays at around 80 degrees or so. I haven’t tried it, so I’m not sure how it would do for you. I’ve had mine a few years and just gifted it to a neighbor (still works as well as the day I got it) because I upgraded to a newer model which includes a temperature probe for meats. The neighbor loves the original one I gifted him, and I love my new one.
Can you cook the wings from frozen?
Thanks for Watching! Yes you can!
I got this because 12" pizzas fit and it's great for pizza rolls and mozzarella sticks. I'm a fast food junkie! LOL Girlfriend likes it for the toast function..
frontcentermusician Awesome! Thanks for Watching!
Can oven safe or microwave dish go in air fryer?
Thanks for Watching! Oven safe, yes. Microwave? As long as it’s oven safe
Hi - Can it grill meats as you would on a regular charcoal grill?
Thanks for watching! It can grill, but not the same as being on a charcoal grill
Does door come all the way down
Mine does not
Thanks for watching! Door does not come off
What is ferment for air fryer
Thanks for Watching! No idea
I'm surprised it doesn't come with skewers and a rotisery basket like the gowise and several others... thoughts?
Thanks for watching! It comes with rotisserie
How do you turn it off?
Thanks for Watching! Once you are done with it you press the on off button
I know this is late, but I just bought one and cant figure out how to turn it off, i dont see an off button! is it just start/cancel?
Thanks for Watching! It turns off by itself...
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ Thanks so much!
How is it holding up now
Thanks for Watching! Holding up well Ernest!
is that dishwasher safe?
Gopi V Thanks for Watching! The removable shelve, air fry basket and drip tray can be put in the dishwasher. Good Question!
Is this made in USA?
Thanks for Watching! I doubt it..
If you like crispy wings, don’t put water in the pan.
Thanks for watching!
Air fryer and convection is exactly the same thing.
Thanks for Watching! I’ll go along with your theory
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ It just confuses people. I guess airfry is a trendier term.
I would not call this a "toaster oven". Those are very 1 element simple things. This is a convection oven (which is also what an air fryer is).
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback
Not convinced this works well
iwrk Thanks for watching! Works well for me!
How is an "Air Fryer" different from a convection oven???
rhinohd Thanks for watching! I haven’t figured that out yet...
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ Yep me too
! I have a convection Toaster Over that works awesome for anything people say to air fry. So I have not bought one yet. Today I am making a green chili meatloaf on my pellet smoker ;) Happy Cooking!
rhinohd You also! Thanks for the comments and for watching!
Air fryer has a fan behind the heating element that blows hot air directly onto your food in a confined space creating cyclone effect. Convection oven circulates air around large oven cavitie not directly onto the food more like hurricane. Physics are different and how they fool you into think same is adding the mesh basket to allow full air calculating coverage. Air fryer mimics deep fryer by searing the outside first. Any convection oven can work like this oven just buy copper chef air fryer mesh basket and it comes with its own tray.
