What is not told here is the Ninja's door controls are problematic. The wires break from opening and closing the door netting a short life. Great oven otherwise.
You are correct that opening the door will pause the oven but that seems to be for added safety in case you forget to turn it off and not a faulty design. You may still be correct to think that this feature may shorten the oven's life span though, we just don't think that it should be the case.
@shouldit.official Mine failed is why know about this. Found a ton of people with the same problem. Cable breaks internally and ninja will not sell the part which renders it trash. Unfortunate.
@@MR_Garage That is unfortunate. We'll let you know if the same thing happens to this Ninja in the future, and maybe make a video about it. Would you mind sharing what oven you are using right now?
Did you find advantages or disadvantages of having controls on the top (like the Ninja) vs. on the side (Cosori)? I suppose that when they are at the top, you have to be careful not to burn your hands at the end of cooking. or oven reliability is reduced because the controls see more heat. I don't know if that's true.
Great question! The digital control panel on the top being exposed to heat while the oven is running was one of our main concerns going into it as well. However, as you can see, the control panel is actually located on the handle, staying a couple of inches away from the cooking chamber, and thus stayed cool even after a few hours of cooking. We've had some ovens where the heat reaches the digital control panel, but not the ones on the best lists.
@@shouldit.official Thanks. I did not notice that the controls of the Ninja were on the handle. I thought they were on the machine body, and you had to wear gloves because they were hot 😀
Thanks for pointing it out. We can see why there's a confusion. The score shown in the chart was the total score for each test, and not just the score for doneness in the prior sentence. So, the scores are still correct.
Are you refering to the potential harm of having Teflon non-stick coating for oven's interior? Then you don't have to worry because the top 3 doesn't have an interior non-stick coating. The Breville has one but it's enamel and not Teflon.
@@shouldit.official no I’m not , i’m talking about the poison. That’s in the plastics that’s recently come out.antimony in air fryers. Look it up and let me know your thoughts.
After some digging, I found that most of the concerns come from black plastic, specifically black plastic baskets in air fryers and coffee machines. However, it's just completely unadvisable to use plastic tools in said equipment. We've only seen metal baskets in air fryers and coffee makers. And, the concerns don't seem to be scientifically proven. Antimony is a semi-metal used as a flame retardant synergist in the production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) - a type of plastic that can withstand heat. And there have only been reports of antimony leaching in plastic water bottles in Europe and Canada but not the US. In any case, you don't need to worry about these ovens since they don't have any plastic components, regarding both their exterior and interior, that come into contact with the heat and therefore, your food.

thats not a like to the Ninja XL Pro tho so.......
Is it too late to give it a like now? Cuz 👍
Would you consider to do a long term review to see how the button holding up?
Absolutely. All of these toaster ovens are frequently used in our test kitchen so that we can evaluate how they hold up in the long run.
Like to see a cleaning video after 12 months of use. The heat binds the fat that its impossible to remove.
You got it. Video coming soon.
Omni plus looks like winner to me 😂

No problem. The gloves were just for taking out the hot trays ✌️
