I think that's the charm of it. The sweet conviction of the characters, the fairy-tale like feel. The beauty of this short is that it doesn't negate the struggles that the characters might go through; it just shows us a snippet of a moment and leaves us hoping for the best but not blind to the possibilities of it all going to hell.

I could go on and on about my love for this and I will; one, I'm a lesbian. Two, I love how slow paced it is, stretching out every scene it's great. Three, the awkwardness of two teenage girls who are falling in love one with parents that taught her that it's wrong to be in love with a girl. Four, the aesthetic, I love hipster-type aesthetics and this film doesn't disappoint (also the graffiti is sick). Five, the slightly shaky camera adds on two the awkwardness but also gives it a bit of an unfinished feel and I personally love it. Six, again I'm gay (well technically I'm pansexual but whatever). Seven, the final shot is *FLAWLESS* AND MADE ME CRY (in a good way). Eight, Ana's crying is isn't perfect and beautiful, it's ugly and gross and *natural* which gives it 1ooooooooooooo% more emotion and it made my cry so thumbs up for that. Nine, I'm going back and elaborating on the awkwardness, the dinner scene in particular, two Christian parents, their not straight child, and her kind of girlfriend having dinner and the parents don't know. The party scene is perfect too. Ten, the stereotypical Christian parents are perfectly portrayed, and as someone has a Christian mom, the stereotype is true, especially "dO _nOt_ TaKe ThE lOrDs NaMe In VeIn". Eleven, both girls are *really flipping cute* . Twelve the instrumentals are faboo. I could go nit-picking all of everything amazing about this film but it's 4am and I'm tired so I'm just going to leave you peeps with this, this film is not perfect, and that's the point; it's perfect and not being perfect, boom a really cool message. Welp, that's it please correct my grammar in the comments or add on if you would like too, I'm not going to proofread this until I get a good amount of sleep (or never). I'm going to go, Bye bye and thank you for letting this awkward little child rant!! Bella OUT! :p

your headphones are not broken, they muted some parts so you check the comments to boost the youtube algarythm. besides from the NLP technique to make people comment the film was very well structured and the body language of all the actors were exactly as if it was real unlike in usual films e.g. where they talk about memories on tv (before tv went obsolete) while creating memories in their eyes making it confusing for super empaths and heyoka to watch. I commented because this film deserves the boost in recommendations. life gets easier if you make more short films for us aswell as yourself thankyou

I know, I always see people crying in movies and it is just really quiet and controlled, when realistically, crying is ugly and emotional and it shouldn't be made pretty, because no, heartbreak is not pretty, and certainly not controllable.

In all honesty, when you feel someone’s arm around your waist and you’ve developed even the slightest of feelings for them, it makes you nervous and you stay awake because your brain works rather hard to work out why you are so nervous or simply because subconsciously you don’t want to miss that touch. I have had similar reactions. I have also had similar reactions when I turned around and they were awake. Never did actually kiss them. Perhaps, another time?
All in all, I would say perfect way to capture this scene.

I can relate to you so much. I live with my grandparents and my grandpa is super homophobic and religious. After my sister came out, he basically treated her like trash. Because of that, I’m afraid to come out as bi. My sister knows I am and told me not to be because my grandpa would say she “influenced me” or something. But films like this make me feel not so alone

Crazy how I never came to terms with my sexuality and always got uncomfortable watching films like this, I would always get extreme anxiety and nervousness but this is the first ever film I’ve watched and made me feel so proud and comfortable being gay
