My head is completely spinning with the fact that I'm really here typing out a description for "Warmish." Warm has been such an era in my life, and I know it has been for everyone else involved too. It's been roughly three years in the making and for the last 9 months my head has been CONSUMED with warmish. Almost every spare thought I've had for the past few months has been warmish and I've constantly put it before everything else because it is SO important to me and I know it'll be important for some of you guys too. This has been such a beautiful part of my life and I hope I make you guys proud with it and I hope it's everything you dreamt and more. I'm here to represent myself and all of you as best as I can in the lgbt+ community. But this is more than just an lgbt+ storyline (even though it's such a huge part and plays an important role in helping our community grow stronger) I poured every ounce of my soul into this short film and I couldn't be any happier. Warmish and the warm era are definitely over but Ellie and Parker will always be in my heart and I'm so thankful to be able to share this piece of art with the world.

I have never seen intimacy (emotional closeness) between two girls portrayed so well. There’s something magical about the closeness of small touches, playful silliness, and quiet moments that Warmish caught perfectly. I’m in love with this. I am certain I will be watching a million times over.

this film is so badasss, and the fact, and i mean it, the fact that there's only one kiss(the only lesbian kiss) made it just more blow minding like it had more of a story than everything else, just made it so natural and honest

this is my comfort film, i watched it when i was in my first lesbian relationship, when we broke up, i was in denial about my sexuality and now that i’m comfortable with it
You literally cannot deny the chemistry Alex and Zoe have on screen (and I’m assuming in reality as friends). It’s phenomenal. Some of that stuff just cannot be taught. The subtle glances, flicker of the eyes, touches, and general vibes they each portray is incredible. Absolutely phenomenal and I CANNOT WAIT to see the even better follow up film A Delicate Burn. Literally cannot wait to see this story relationship deepen.
P.S. If you and your friend or best friend could pass as lesbians, you know there’s some MAD chemistry.

This is absolutely gorgeous and the most impressive short film for coming of age movies! The story is so true as you're feeling everything side by side with the two young women who fall in love with each other even after their break-up!

I just realized I've never commented on here before which is crazy because this is like my fifth time watching Warmish. I first watched it when it came out in 2017 and I actually can barely express how meaningful it is to me. I've never seen myself or my relationship so represented in a piece of art/media before. I've never watched any love storyline that felt as true and authentic to my real life. No part of this felt forced or fabricated, which is such a rare thing. When I first watched this I was healing from an incredibly hard, impactful relationship and dealing with a messy, wrenching, on-again-off-again breakup. My life felt really dark and difficult for a long time, and this movie helped me feel seen and slightly more hopeful. It showed me a mirror of me and her in a lot of ways and it connected with me on a deep deep level. I still feel like I know both of these girls. Even the music choices were the ones from my life. Sorry if this seems excessive, I just really want to express how important this movie was during a hard time in my life, and how much I still love it for how real it feels. I hope some of the people who made this come together see this someday and know how important their art is!!!

Why can't Hollywood make a movie like this?
It is very clear that there are people who crave for a proper LGBT film that doesn't fall under the typical tropes and cliches that Hollywood often churns out. I am happy that this short film doesn't emphasize sex and avoids the usual cliches I often see in Lesbian movies & series.
While I still saw some flaws in this, Warmish definitely now ranks among my favorite Lesbian films I've seen, and this is coming from a straight guy who has seen a lot of LGBT movies. Well done, Braxie, Zoe & Alex. Hope you do more films like this. Much ❤ from Philippines.

I saw this short film years ago, I wasll 11 or 12 maybe. I came out when I was 11, I'm 18 now and this film has still stuck with me. I still think about it to this day. I would watch this on repeat. I like this ALOT. see, Parker is the one who keeps backtracking to the past and making time between their breakup and now seem shorter than it is, but is also the one trying to move on. But Ellie... Ellie is the one who keeps insisting their relationship is history, and "ages ago", but she's jealous of Parker moving on. Their literally yin and yang. Even their styles. Parker with denim and beanies etc and Ellie with her space buns and colorful shirts. They're like puzzle pieces finally coming together. I just love it so much. Very well written.

Katrina Best parker was worst than he was in my opinion. like I wanted to feel happy for her but if there's something I can't stand its when a girl is leading on a guy(or vise versa) and the fact that she was pretty mean to him. she was dishonest in the relationship and caused it to end. apparently she was the reason her and Ellie broke up

Damnnnn, I first watched this movie when I think I was 21, questioning very much about my sexuality. Now I’m 25 and clear, comfortable and accepting that I’m bi. Time really flies! Thank you so much for this masterpiece and the ‘Warm’ as well. I guess I have watched both Warm and Warmish not less than 10 times haha and I’m still very much in love with them.
