this movie has turned out to be a surprise gem, no one thought it would be this good
I mean it had Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach behind the script and direction, so people were expecting something
@@honorisalive people were going to expect something regardless of the writer, and it's because it's a big budget, live action, pinky Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie. Now, good expectations came in the moment Greta was reported to be writing and directing it because this will be on-brand with her style. To be honest, I was expecting a vastly different live action Barbie movie from what we're being shown but I have come to love this one now just because they spared NO QUARTER in making it: from writing, to production, to promotion--exactly how you'd want Mattel to support it.
