For those who can't get the vanishing point, there's another easy way I tried.
In Illustrator, under the "Line" tool there's a perspective rectangle tool that will make a grid (I had 25*25 dividers). Then under the Transform tool there's perspective transform, make it narrower at the top. Adjust. Voila! You can enter the color you want for the stroke. Just click and drag to photoshop. You can then double click the layer it's on to add an outer glow which will still look nice. Best of luck.
Also, thanks to Marty for the great tutorial!
Thanks but what about people that don't have Illustrator? 😟
I love how you zoom in and go into detail of where to find the functions. Even explaining things as well which most tutorials don't even do. Adobe is constantly changing the way it looks and most tutorial videos on UA-cam and Adobe just say the functions but don't actually show where. Then I'm off searching for another video or site to find out where that function is, and then the whole project is not fun because I'm spending more time looking for the functions not being shown in the tutorial than actually doing the project.
This was so easy to follow, and very useful. Thank you for taking the time to make this well informed video!
Soon as that music kicked in I knew I had come to the right place!
I've been trying to manually make the grids and this is 💯 life too me right now.
This was extreamly useful, in the way it's demonstrated and how I learned so many other photoshop skills. In short: You've earned a subscription!
new generation wants retro

I solved the grid problem using the method used in chillwave design, it really messed me up to grill in vanishing point settings, when it didn't work, I thought of this solution, it's fun to design old graphic design styles but sometimes mishaps like this can upset me, but I still enjoyed watching and finished the design, thanks Marty .👍✌😎
Love it Marty, one of the best YT channels for learning PS 👍
I use GIMP, and this video (oddly) taught me more about how to use GIMP than any tutorial I've ever watched :/
Love it!
Cool! Your tutorial is so clear for me as a beginner in photoshop!
Thank you , helped me learn an easier way to make this saved my time
Wait wut???
I just now finished a project in this same style for my phone wallpaper.

I don’t recreate every tutorial but watching them gives me tips that I have been using for my own different portfolio projects. Thanks and happy holidays Marty! 🙂 ❄️

i learned many things today, thank you!
Simple and useful. Thank you.
Another great tutorial
Lot of thanks mr marty
Super interesting !!!
Hi! In my case, with the problem of the grid, erasing my preferences and then reducing the grid solved it, if you do it as big as him, it may not appear. The only thing is that in the actual image has the squares of the grid smaller, if you take that into account is easy to fix. Hope this helped!
Going to give this a go later this week. Need to update my banner and brb screen for my twitch.
the best tutorial ever
Used it for a moon based design. Thanks big guy
Thank you!
the grid didnt transfer out of the vanishing point
I am having that problem as well. I have tried multiple times and whenever the gird does transfer the grid lines end up being more compact than they were initially supposed to be.
I also have this problem
make sure Render to photo shop is ticked
Reset your preferences
@@theonlyjuanrovere6811 I have tried that, and that didn't help. grid still not appearing.
This was so easy to follow along with and just what I needed. Thanks for all the details. I learned alot more than what I came here for! Subscribing!!
You are so welcome!

Amazing tutorial... i love this channel.
Спасибо, попробую сделать так же
I don't understand why but as soon I get to "Render Grid to Photoshop" (@7:10), I click it and "Ok" out of the vanishing point, The grid doesn't appear at all in any layer. I can still add overlay, stroke etc but nothing appears in the layer
great job
Thanks man, my potato laptop can't even handle creating the noise effect and crashed the Photoshop lol. Keep up the great work though!
Amazing!
Wonderful !
That video is perfect for a noob as me

Thank you so much man, this really helped me.
Glad to hear it!
@@BLTV_Photoshop thanks man
nice
I love your videos for two reasons. 1. You get to the point and teach very effectively. 2. I always learn something new that sticks.
Awesome, thank you!
5:30 you skipped setting the opacity to 100% and changing the element size to 70px but, it's pretty self-explanatory. Great tutorial!
Thank you for your comment. I checked the video at 5:30, but I'm not seeing what you're referring to. 🤔
@@BLTV_Photoshop When you created the outer glow both the size (under elements) and opacity (under structure) were already set to the correct amount from your previous attempt, still a really easy fix on my end, I just had a bit of a scare when what I was doing looked different to yours.
good Photoshop
Fantástico
this grid doesnt work for anyone, can you provide an alternative method for that ?
If your grid is not appearing, try moving lightly it's corners till it appears
I tried that and it still didn't work.
my grid doesn't appear after i press " ok " . i've followed all the steps
