My man! Hands down best tutorial I found for this. You take your time to explain everything and it is very easy to follow. Thank you for making this. Helped me figure a lot out.
Man this was great, I use photoshop a lot at work but don’t have any formal training. Learned a ton of shortcuts I didn’t know about. Gonna be tryinng the chrome wording today.
I was seeing the text colors pretty different as in your video and I didn't realize alomost until the end that I had the dust/grain group under all the layers except the BG, sow I was seeing the retro text purple and green, now it really looks very cool, I love this effect a lot, thank you so much for the tutorial. P. S.: My mind almost blows with that much layer copies, and so many masks XD
Hello! I'd like to use this tutorial to help me create some title text for a future novel cover of mine. Not sure what the rules are on tutorial-based design, but just wanted to check in with you to see if there's some sort of license or attribution I need to obtain from you? Thanks in advance!
Thanks to this and Spoon Graphics video, I now have an awesome Retrowave Cassette case artwork, I learned a few tips and tricks with both videos. You earned a subscribe from me :)
Don't know why but, I couldn't make a Clipping Mask for the Fill Color (Purple) at 16:16. I followed every step and made sure I did by going over these steps twice. Still, wasn't able to add a Clipping Mask. I can't figure out how to get around it, either.
I was watching the video and thought that the video was about 5-10 minutes length but when the video ended i realised that the video was 20 minutes :D Good job man!
The only problem with all these tutorials on my end is that my layout is completely different. So whenever you go to a button I spend 5 mins looking for where mine is located! Is there a preset I could select to see what youre seeing?
Everything was going fine up until 10:53. For some reason my version of Photoshop "its 2021" isn't allowing me to convert the Retro text from Smart Object back to PSD File, and normal Text to turn black. I can't double click at all. An error keeps coming up stating " Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document". Is another option to get around this?
Hey, all is good except one thing. At 16:19, i have to ALT+CTRL+G to create a clipping mask but its grey for me...I try all and i can't do it...Could you help me? Thank you very much
After pressing the copy of the write 10:55 i can't change the write or add something idk why i press on T and i pressed on "LIKE" but they made new write idk why pls help
I'm really curious to know how you got the rights to The Midnight's music. I love there stuff and I want to use it on my channel. How did you go about getting the rights?

Totally Random, but how does one make the Photoshop dropdown menus like this. The grey and opaque look?
I only needed the grid, and you googled it :c
Flawless

Thanks man! :D
Nice
Retro Outrunner.
Daft Punk.
when changing the layer to vivid light it doesn't turn out as shown in the video, instead of dark purple it becomes really washed out.
I have a question. I created this through the tutorial, how do I just use the Outrun and convert that into a vector without losing the effects
can you do a paint.net tutorial?
mighty
I'm really curious to know how you got the rights to The Midnight's music. I love there stuff and I want to use it on my channel. How did you go about getting the rights?
11:49 I've done everything you said to do, but I can't get a white rectangle. It won't fill in. Help???
look at the what fill and stroke colours are set too. You can see on the top toolbar. u most likely have fill set to transparent
The wave looks way different than your's when I do it.
You might have to change the y-axis' value
