Hey Justin! On my 08 328i I'm getting readings on my OBDll that somethings wrong with my radiator coolant temperature sensor do you know how to replace it DIY or should I not mess with it and just leave it to the professionals?
Quick tip: prior to turning on the pressure washer run water through the line until you get all the air out. Your pressure will thank you in the long run, great video Justin!
I wanted to write that! Stops damage to the water pump from cavitation. Cavitation=bubbles creating & collapsing at extreme high speed - they can cause pitting on metal parts.
I received my pressure washer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!
Hey Justin - very nice video. Car detailing gurus recommend using snow foam on a dry car. They say that the surfactants can better remove the dust & debris on the paint. The longer the dwell lasts, the longer they can work on lifting the crud from the paint. I have not tested this myself but I have watched several videos on this topic which come to this conclusion. In one test however, the windows came out cleaner on the car which had been pre-rinsed. I hope this is useful. Avoiding pre-rinsing means less water, less electricity & less time for slightly better results. What's not to like? All the best from Switzerland.
As someone who details cars, this is definitely a good beginner's guide but future tip uses the foam that's on the car for a faster and more efficient way of cleaning it, and don't forget to clean the springs for you wipers and also around emblems, trim, indicators, etc. But other than that it was a well-informed video.
While the foam is dwelling, its a good time to take a small detail brush and scrub around and in the fuel door, emblems and trims, make s world of difference
I just love the fact, that you are not those type of petrolhead youtubers who start their videos as WHAT'S GOIN' ON GUYS!?!?! MY NAME IS *insert name here* AND TTTTODDDAAAY WE'RE GONNA TRY SOME AWWESSSSOOOOME SNOWFOAM!!!!!! Loving the chill vibes coming. Keep up the good and honest work Justin.
Don't know why had a smile on my face throughout watching this video. 1) it's quite destressing watching car washing videos. 2) the guy seemed really nice, like kinda feel good vibes spreading person.
Nice video. A quick reminder that electric pressure washers that put out about 1.5 gpm or less of water will benefit more if you change the internal orifice in the canon to 1.1mm, if it didn't already come that way (many come with a 1.25mm default)
@@DuboCsi the smaller orifice allows more air than water to agitate the soap better and generate a dryer foam. If you did not notice any change, my guess is that your foam canon may have already had a 1.1 installed. It will also increase pressure because the pump will work harder because of the restriction.
Gotta work on your production schedule, Justin. I bought the foam cannon a couple of months ago, totally mucked it up, had to wait till today to get this all sorted. C'mon man, cut us some slack. Don't keep us waiting so long for these excellent videos. We're making mistakes while we wait!
Thanks for the video! I'm an old codger, but new to foam cannons! That is friggin cool! Also, my workplace is just off of The Dragon. It is a really cool place to ride with lots of beautiful scenery. Just be safe...lots of crazy motorcyclist testing out their skills on all the curves. Quite a few people have been killed on that stretch of road. Take care and thanks, again, for the video. ~Sam
Would just like to point out one thing. If you spray the car first, then the water laying on the car will dilute the foam you already have mixed up properly. So ideally you only spray foam on a dry car.
Afaik foam cannons was actually first used in the UK, using a stronger "foam" which acts kind of like a road film remover/degreaser with no lubricant in it, then sprayed off. Most people are far better off just power washing the car, using "regular" soap, or this adams one with lubricant in it. Let it sit on the car and do your normal washing routine with it, to act as extra lubricant. There is often not any reason to rinse it off, it doesnt really break down any dirt.
Oh Justin, greetings from Australia. ‘I was afraid to open the package in front of her’. I laughed so hard. Obvious what you thought it could have been. You’re a gorgeous man, showing this level of respect and privacy to your lady.
Nice Video! I think you are first person on countless foaming videos keep your hand on the foam cannon I assume as a safety? I dented a new truck years ago with a 100psi air hose when the quick coupling on the hose suddenly failed and flung connector into the side of my truck. I could see a rogue foam cannon quick connect fail, and do far more damage at 1600psi!
I like the electric washer. I've never done the foam thing. Oh no clear coat gone. I was just curious on the foam. Might be tricky on a white car. I want a wax that repells everything. Snow ,dust dirt, then foam , rinse and it's spotless. Sure dream world.
Hey, great video. Funny joke about the wheel cleaner. Answered lots of questions. I have one more....I have the same pressure washer. If I put the shampoo in the resevoir that comes on the power washer washer, will it work??
Justin, Great video!!! I have one question... What intensity do I put my pressure washer on for the foam cannon? I have a Ryobi 2700 electric pressure washer and I am unsure of what setting it should be on. Thanks and I love your video!!!! I subscribed.
The California greenies must love foam guns. Uses a lot of water for the whole process and dispenses various chemicals in to the ecosystem. The sky is falling!!! Cool vid
Dude I loved this video. From your editing, to your car, proper washing method, and positivity. Keep up the good work. I think I’ve decided on a foam cannon.
Hi Justin. I have purchased a BMW 2009 320i LCI model from Japan. How do I go about retuning the stereo and Nav systems to South Africa market? Thanks Darryn
Oddly enough I've been watching quite a few foaming car wash videos lately, as I'm in the market for the same thing. Apparently 2oz of soap to 16oz of water is the ideal mixture for that shaving cream level of foam
people buy car washers to keep cars clean, then use a hell lot of things to make them shiny., now many think that they need to maintain the pressure washer too, like maintaining a thing that maintains another thing, that is a lot of maintenance.
Just wondering do you have your cowl still installed? I'm wondering if using a foam cannon on my car would damage anything since i dont have the cowl on. I run BMS cabin filter.
The pressure washer PSI isnt really important, as the tip size used will determine the actual pressure coming out, as well as the regulator on the foam cannon.
I’m a ryobi fanboy I have the 1600 psi electric pressure washer with upgraded gun and hose it works great for 100 bucks not including the upgraded parts
Yeah I skate. It’s funny you mention them being tight. The pair I have on in the video were too big for me to skate so I just use them as a casual shoe. I ordered another pair a half size smaller and they were still slightly too wide and my foot was moving around. I ended up stacking a pair of insoles from another shoe to get them to fit right. Other than that I love them for skating. Im used to vulcanized shoes and these don’t seem to have as much grip as something like the Busenitz Vulc, but after a couple hours at the park I got used to them. I just got the white ones with the light blue check mark and dark blue foam on the inside
SO you still have to hit the car with a mitt of some sort?! Here I was thinking I was done doing that now that I have a foam cannon. I guess I was under the impression that no additional "cleaning" was required after the foam and rinse....
Hey Justin, what are you using for lighting now? Long ago you used to use the Diva Ring Light. What were your experiences with the Diva light for doing talking head shots. Your videos always look really smooth. Help a brotha out and share the secret. Thanks.
This has been my lighting setup since around October 2019: Light - GODOX SL60W amzn.to/31p5ATP Diffuser - Neewer 34" amzn.to/2YGsowQ Light stand amzn.to/2NEflFS The ring light was okay, but the new setup puts out WAY more light and distributes it more evenly. It's what makes shooting in my garage possible. Looking back, I think the ring light is better suited for makeup tutorials where the camera and light are closed in on your face. The new light is more of a standard studio setup. My ONLY complaint about the new light is that with the diffuser, it has a really large footprint, so ideally you'd want a designated filming area in your house where you could just leave it set up. You can break it all down each time but it's a pain in the butt.

I meant to mention that at the end! I was wondering why it took so long to get pressure at first lol

Wait what do you mean I might buy a pressure washer soon and i couldn’t understand your comment
I wanted to write that! Stops damage to the water pump from cavitation. Cavitation=bubbles creating & collapsing at extreme high speed - they can cause pitting on metal parts.
I always run water through my pressure before I use it and before I store it , I put pump saver solution.

Great video! Nice E90 as well, sold my 06 330i with BBS CHs a few years ago and seeing your car makes me really miss it. Cheers bro 🤙

Replace the stock orifice in the foam cannon with a 1.1mm orifice if your GPM is low to generate THICK AF shaving cream-like foam.
That's mainly an issue with the smaller electric pressure washers.
Pretty familiar with pressure washing, but watching this was so satisfying. Editing is A++
