My golden sugar shed a lot but I don't mind and I talk to my vet about any fish oils in their food if you said not to so I'm listening to the vet but besides that my golden retriever is in pretty well

My dog is 6 month old ...he sheds a lot .I get scolded everyday as I was one who adopted him against my parents will..but now my parents keep him alone in the balcony which makes me irritate.. I visit him many times there talk to him but not satisfied 😭🥺

I literally have to vacuum daily and even after there is still more hair.
Please do something to the society which is full of fake fear and do torture to these angels. Some people in this so called society ban these lovely creatures in housing complex. There are bad people which I want to remove but cant. Anyway, I have my simba and there are lots of furs in house and i am used to it. Seosonal shredding are there. Good video.
I shave my golden retriever for the summer!
You should never shave your Golden Retriever’s hair, not even during the summer months. Golden Retrievers have a double coat which work together to protect them in both the winter and the summer months. In the summer, the undercoat is shed - if you were to then shave it (which you did) even further this could leave the Retriever’s skin unprotected and bare for sunburn.

I would change vets. We've had three, no more than paws and light trimming of feathers on their hind legs.

GR are domestic polar bears the public who have they are very lucky. And others dont know what they are loosing by not owning angels.

How often you bathe your golden retriever depends on how dirty he gets. Usually bathing once or twice a month is a general guideline. Just make sure to use a good quality canine shampoo and conditioner. I have linked some good ones right here - Amazon (US): amzn.to/3zmx63d

Be careful all the recent researches proves that the bath with sampoo is bad for dogs and specially golden. This dog can easyly have skins trauble with irritation because of it, even natural dogtested shampoo... (evenmore it breack the natural smell of the dog and he hates that ! Thats why lots of dogs rolls in poops after a bath)
You have to know that golden have impermeable hairs so they are selfclear. The equivalent of shampoo for dogs on a human is glasses with a strong correction when you have no nead of glasses... it's useless and even dangerous !
However it's not a fatality ! You can bath you're golden how many often you like ! Just without shampoo ! Water is enough ! ^^
(And dont forget that if you're golden smells strong like a dog, it's just because it's a dog !)
I have a golden retriever 8 months he was sleep on bed with my daughter 9 habbit . Why my champion my dog when we come from out always get the sleepers on his mouth and makes rounds beside us?🤣🤣
These are all great rules, here’s my additions:
Rule number ONE - one the day your golden comes home number one - get a hand held vacuum “dustbuster” style!
1. If at all possible have tile or wood floors - avoid carpet in the house if you can
2. Use hand held vacuum
3. Extra play and cuddles
Just kidding with that number three but it makes us all happy!
There will be no hair on the bed and the couch if you just don’t let the dog on it in the first place…I don’t get people who allow that. It is super unhygienic to do that I mean they walk outside and lick themselves, should be logical to prohibit a dog from those spaces…
that’s not entirely true, we have a golden retriever and we do not allow it on couches or bed, or the tables. but hair still gets on there just from either people petting her or sometimes even her just playing, jumping, or shaking and then the starts hair floating and lands on the furniture. it also sticks to clothes so unless you lint roll yourself before you sit on the couch or get into bed every time there’s gunna be hair in places you don’t allow your dog
