Yeah! I have 3 of them in BU condition! I bought 6 rolls at a yard sale last summer for face value! WOW! What a wonderful video to see at such s depressing time in my life (and many others people's, I am sure). Hopefully , I can make some kind of money by selling them. I hate to do that but when you have been out of work & find out two months later that your company is no longer going to pay for Family Leave for employees & you don't qualify for unemployment (health related).. Needless to say, I am flat broke a d nowhere to go. That has all changed now! TY! I always look forward to your vids ~ very much informative and great stuff.
I just found 1xu in 2006 without the logo and they are magnetic again. This is a blessing
im from Canada wow i have a ton of the 2006 i am going to search these out. i when i heard our penny was leaving us. i went and bought rolls of them. and have a whole white envelope of 2006 pennies. and i have a strong magnet. thanks for the vid.
Here goes according to Canadian coin news vol57 #22. Grade is MS64red

Just for everyone’s clarification, the only rare ones are the 2006 plain on the magnetic planchet, and the 2006 P on the non-magnetic planchet

Most pennies were melted down over here and I saved a whole bunch of magnetic and noncmagnetic pennies..2006 like new wish I could show you.have yourself a great day.listen to you all the time and am a subscriber.for a long time
@@BlueRidgeSilverhound I don't really know.but I have 80 lbs.of like new Canadian pennies of all years also lots of Jefferson nickels.I bought coins from an old man and lady and said they had them for years.she's 84 yrs.young and he's 91.that's maybe why the coins are in great condition.

I thought there'd be a non magnetic gold version someone had said a long while ago. Never looked into it. Thanks for the update of zinc cores..just got an RCM stamped 2006 in my roll hunting yesterday.

I have 2 of these 2006 Canadian penny no logo and no p, both are graded. One is a ms69 and the other is ms62

1962-80, AU is very common. The ones you want are the 2006 no P magnetic but the bread winner is the 2006 P non magnetic. According to CoinsandCanada MS 65 is around $1,400. Six varieties in 06 No crown New Effigy

I have 12 2006 pennies here. And 1999's pennies. Magnetic
I check again some of my collection Canadian pennies and I found more that are magnetic 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 pennies but they don’t have a P mark on it

Banks did all that smelting almost all pennies but some ppl kept some for souvenirs
My grandfather had containers of pennies, nickels and dimes and I just found ome of the no logo, no p, magnetic penny. Pretty happy since I domt have ome yet. I also have 40$ in pennies yo look through too, so maybe I have more. I do live in Canada
I collect Canadian coins as I live in a Northern state. I enjoy collecting the pennies as they no longer make them.
Hay brother, I picked up 2 rolls of 2012 1c Canadians.
One roll was magnetic and one roll was non- magnetic. And a few of them look like proof coins although they are business strike. Great video my friend.

I bought them about a year ago and didn't think much about them until I seen a video on them. That's when I discovered that some were magnetic. Neither one has a "P" on them.

always like your shows been watching you for years.
Small thing, 1 cents were produced until 2012, not 2011, I personally toured the mint back then when they were closing down production of them and managed to get a mint condition one :)

I have 14 unmarked 2006 Canadian pennies all non- magnetic but many in great shape. How and Where to sell?
last year 2012, i have some 2012 that have doubling of the date and some of hem have some extra metal under the first 2 of the date and some i took out of rolls that have black spots on them

I'm really glad you did do this on the Canadian Maple Leaf penny. I don't know why bit everyone I have gotten I've kept like it was so worth something. What I dont know is there a book to collect them like we have for the wheat pennies? Where and who do you get them graded?

I've a bunch of all sorts of world coins But when I put a magnetic over a random bunch of about 50 coins the only coins it pulled up was Canadian Coins I found it very odd so I found around 11 Canadian coins out of all my coins and still they all stuck to a magnet Except for 1 coin which was a 1 cent logo less 2000 coin it had me puzzled I knew something was up😠 my luck I got the non magnetic logo less 1 😠

I have found 2 of those 2006 no logo, no P magnetic also I have a 2006 no logo, no P zink with no copper coating!!!! I've talked to everyone I know and the Canadian Mint, no one has ever seen this penny like that. What should I do with that one?
