- This is the first time out for the Trail walker Black. it did better than i thought it would. it was held back by my lack of driving skills; a good set of tires should help compensate for that. the Ecto is just an impressive rig. we put a set of wheels and tires on it, and it just seems to do everything better. we will be back with some new tires for the TWBlack and knock this trail out. we hope you enjoy the video. leave a comment, question or suggestions. and thank you for the visit.

Nice video 👍. I have 2 Element rigs and love them . A Gatekeeper which now runs an Ecto shell and a Sendero HD with a Zuul body. Simple upgrades of a hobbywing 1080, SSD front and rear brass weights and heavier wheels. All I have done to them and they are great rigs . Lovely and smooth running
Hi. Thank you. We're glad you liked the video. You're absolutely right about the Elements they are nice rigs. We have three of them. They're all different. The only upgrades we have are wheels and tires. The knightrunner has a couple of other small upgrades. Possibly the best trail rigs out of the box. I bet with your upgrades, you have a really nice rig. It probably goes anywhere. Thanks for commenting.
@@usssoupership hi, no worries. Although the stock esc is pretty decent for an rtr , the hobbywing 1080 really does make a big difference and works nicely with the stock reedy motor . Definitely worth also putting the over drive gears in the stealth x box . Honestly try a 1080 in one of them, well worth it

@@usssoupership no worries. Believe your prices over there are a good deal cheaper than here in the UK so its makes them even better value for money. If you want an even better set up , the hobbywing fusion se 1800kv and fusion pro 2 in one motor combos make them even more capable and controllable

The Ecto comes with the same stock tires as the trail walker. I took them off before they ever touched the dirt. The mud slingers "after being cut" are an awesome dirt, sand and mud tire. Good run gentlemen! The mirrors are nice while they last.....lol.
Hi. lol, you already knew them tires stink. The Ecto is better out of the box vs the trailwalker. Imo. But when we put them mud slingers on. It really came alive. We have since put a set of M/T Baja proX on the trailwalker and it will now keep up. Thank you for the visit and commenting. I'm going to go find a video on cutting the mud slingers. @@usssoupership I flush cut all of the smaller short tread out and left the big ones. Other people do it differently. I was just looking at the baja last night. The super soft and sticky were back ordered though. I could have got the G8 compound but.....I'll wait. I here lots of good thing about them. Don't try the knock-offs......the compound is lousy! @@usssoupership By the way, the other thing I love about the #ECTo is the stealth-X transmission. It is so quiet and smooth that I wish I could replace the tranny's in my other trucks. I wish.....

Hi and thank you. I think you're going to have one hell of a rig on your hands with upgrades. the Ecto is our best crawler out of the box stock. We have only upgraded the wheels n tires. So I'm sure your Ecto is going to be impressive. If you don't mind, I would like to know what you're doing to yours and let me know what works so I can upgrade ours.
