- This truck looks so sick and some have said it’s one of the best performing ready-to-run trail trucks out there. Is it?! Today we’re taking a look at the new Element RC Enduro Ecto Black Edition. In this video, we go over the features of the Ecto on the bench, including adjustable overdrive, a new scratch and weather body, straight axles, Gatekeeper suspension, behind the axle steering and more. I also got a new CarryAll RC pack so I strapped this to my back and take it on a secret mountain bike trial for the maiden run.

Very cool video. Excellent review, nice crawling and I love the biking in aspect! And we’ve all accidentally brought the uncharged batteries (or forgotten the EC3 to Dean’s adapter so the charged batteries couldn’t be plugged in!). The matte black is gorgeous - it’s gonna look wicked sick as the rocks start to take their toll!

Cool, would have loved to see more driving with this truck, the 2-3 minutes of drive footage was not nearly enough to get a decent idea on the performance,
Also the error floating across the driving footage: Warp Stabilizer and Speed can't be used on same clip was pretty distracting.
Enjoyed the video, looks like a super capable rig. Brought uncharged batteries? We must be related lol!.

Just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration. Took my Gravel bike out for a loop with my Capra strapped on my backpack for a mid ride break and crawl. Will definitely be doing it again!
I’ve been wanting an ecto since they came out.
I’ve searched for some vids of folks running brushless systems that have a bit of speed but can’t find any.
I LOVE trailing but like all my “crawlers” to be able to kick up dirt too! Just like my 1:1 trail trucks and Jeeps :)

What's weird is I'm starting to build an ECTO 1A Ghostbusters rock crawler but it's gonna have an ALTER EGO body which is gonna be black painted over red painted over a white hard plastic body so as it gets scratched through the black paint it will go into the red which will look like blood and then a deeper will go to the white that will look like bone so one body is gonna be the white movie car Ghostbusters body with all the gear and accessories on top and the 2nd body was going to be the hearse and I was gonna call it the ROCK ECTO....
This whole segment makes me think someone got into my head for these ideas!!!😳😂🤤🤣

@@6oh8rc48 I dunno; RC Girl has been the ONLY influencer to feature this truck, and her abbreviated trail run leaves $399.00 of doubt in my mind. More time should have been spent organizing for the truck's review rather than the gd bicycle trail and backpack.

Great!! But it's pricey for something that has no functional doors. I'm a toyphotographer and starting to be a RC/toyphotographer and I would have liked this to have doors that opened to add a 6inch figure inside like its driving ect ect.😢 ima pass on this one..great video though!!
ha. no amature move, we all do that from time to time, even bringing the wrong adapters lol. happens when you are excited to go out and have fun.
I keep a package of Avery 1/4" green dot stickers at my charging station. I place a dot on each battery as it comes off the charger. I remove the sticker when it's drained. Simple & effective.
Cool video! I remember meeting the Element guys when they first launched a few years ago at Proline by the fire, the trucks have a lot of great engineering behind them, and this might be my next truck!
That thing must be something special.

I have the enduro, do they not use most of the same stuff in it, like frame, axles, shock mounts. Could I not just get the rear sway bar and drag link setup and convert mine to an Ecto?
I am sure MANY of us have done that battery trick...I know I have.

WOW!!!! That wad AWESOME RC Girl!!! For me the Ecto has been the best performer out od the box compared to all my other rigs. If you keep the stock esc and motor I would recommend getting the Reedy programmer card. Works just like the HW one. I dialed the punch down a little bit, very smooth.👍👍👍

I wish we were in the same country, I love riding my MTB and crawling RC cars and often combine the 2, as you have. Riding in you can get to some awesome trails for both is so cool. Really enjoyed this thanks, I’m just starting out with my crawling vids so this is very inspirational. The element is on my wish list, look like a great crawler.

I like element shocks but they leak like crazy. Trx4 and basecamp shocks are just as good but do not leak

I’ve had a Element r/c Trail Walker rig a few years ago. A tire change and it became a inexpensive beast. Unfortunately I sold it. I was in my local hobby shop and asked is Element R/C still around. My hobby guy point out the Ecto truck. Oh wow. Then I found out some my local guys super crawlers are built on Element chassis. How did I miss your review of this cool truck. I know life and too much time running the 24th and 18th scale trucks .

Im completely new to this scene and just bought my first crawler. The Ecto is what i picked based solely on the looks😂 super pleased to see this video combines MTB and crawling, genius! I ride my bike in some 😍 places...taking my crawler with me will allow me to slow down and enjoy these places more. * * I just bought my first crawler a few wks ago * *
I was shopping for a used crawler for my first one. and one of the guys i was talking to about buying his had someone message him about buying theirs ( he was known as a collector so ppl would constantly reach out to him to buy theirs ) and so he linked me to that guy.
he so happened to be selling a BRAND NEW enduro knightrunner 4x4 that had like 30 min of play time.
he paid full price for it like a day or 2 prior and he sold it to me for $250 ! ( yes he had receipts etc so i know it wasnt stolen )
this truck is AWESOME out of the box. ( mine has the blue tacoma body on it but i am having a custom FJ cruiser body 3d printed for it soon )
i am in the process of digging a little crawler section in my backyard right now. ( but its becoming summer here in az so i need to hurry hahha )
the only issue ive had with mine is i think the factory didnt install one of the toe arms correctly cuz it kept popping out. so i took both left and right sides out and got them even and reinstalled and it hasnt popped back out again since. ( also the axle would pop out when that happened too and its a pain to get back in cuz you gotta align both at the same time lol )

i love element, my build of my daily(77 Chevy 4x4 van)in 1/10 scale was a builders kit from them with proline body, I need this ecto thought its bad ass looking.

My brother had the Tyco Typhoon in the 90's, I still think it was awesome and would love to get a modernized version. If it doesn't exist, maybe I could build one? Thanks 🙂
