That is a big climb. We named it cliffhanger. It challenges your rig and your nerves at the same time. We had a 10th scale slip off the top once. It survived but not without damage. It's a 10' foot drop from the top. We were lucky. It landed on its top, only bending the body posts with a little body damage. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a good day.
Thank you for coming back. I'm sorry you had to wait so long. I lost some of the footage but added in a couple of clips I know you'd like to see. Thanks again brother. Hope you like it.
I'm happy you're enjoying the videos. Thank you for hanging in there. Sorry it took so long to get this one together. Brother, it was hot that day. We were about to die. I was a basket case. That is a big drop.
Hi guys .Thanks for sharing, I have ordered a Traxxas 18 scale two days ago so I'm checking out as much stuff as I can .I know yours are modified but their climbing abilities are awesome....subbed you from this channel too . Greetings from Northern Europe...Harry
Hello Harry, nice to meet you. Im soup. Greetings from Kentucky. Thank you for subscribing twice. You are the man! You're going to love the trx4m. Im excited for ya. I would warn you, but I can see you already have the addiction to the scale world. Hahaha. What rig are you getting?
@usssoupership hi Soup thanks for your reply...yes I get the warning bit 🤣we both know it will lead to more crawlers 🤭 I got the Ford F150 high trail ....I'm already thinking of the Land rover Defender as a second truck . Really impressed with your content Soup ....thank you for the subscription 👍...Harry
@@usssoupership Anytime, I am a 60 year old good old boy from NJ. I am as into it as you are. Makes my daughter and happy to see others enjoying it as much as we do. 😂
@MM-dz2ze that is cool brother. You're never to old to enjoy some RCs. And at this age can really appreciate it. They bring a smile to my face that's for sure.
Hello. Thank you for commenting. I'm glad you like the videos. The green defender was my first TRX4m. Like you, we are stuck inside for the winter. Although I can't imagine how beautiful and cold it is in Finland. Come on spring time let's get here soon. We want to play in the funshine.
Hi Really enjoyed watching you guys climbing that tree , ive been watching lots of stuff on the traxxas trx4m crawlers and have ordered one two days ago , my return to rc cars after 40 years . excellent content and I subscribed to your channel , greetings from northern Europe ...Harry
What's up Harry. Thank you, and we are glad you enjoy the videos. 40 years is a long time. The hobby has changed but not to much. While the RCs have evolved with technology, the people involved have not. It's just as friendly as it's ever been.
How childish.... Grown men playing with their toy cars. I've been looking at these 4m's for a month or so now, and I just can't wait to get my own. I'm in my 60's and getting younger by the day 🤣😂🤣. Love your video guys!!! 👍ps. New subscriber 😉
Yeah, you're right! It may be childish, but It makes one completely forget their age. And that makes it OK. We sure appreciate the comments and glad you like the videos. Thank you for subscribing. Im excited for you to get one. But what one are you going to get? They just came out with a new high trail version. Let me know what you end up getting. Happy trails kiddo.
@@usssoupership It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and my partner asked me what I would like. Well I didn't have a clue what I'd like, so I went surfing the Internet for inspiration. At this point I must tell you, I've been flying rc planes and helicopters for over 45years, I also own a hpi savage big block, so now you know I'm a big kid 😂 So.. surfing the Internet, I came across the trx4m, and because of its low price and the low price of the hop-up parts, I think it's a no brainer. I've already done my homework, and I've got 3pages of hop-up parts ready to be ordered 🤑🤭 Which brings me on to the answer to your question (which one will I buy?). Well... Being British, I couldn't even think about buying anything which didn't say "Defender" 🤭. And I know I should be buying the "Green" one (if I'm a true patriot 🇬🇧) but I've fallen head over heels in love with the "Grey" one🫠. So, my partner is buying me the car (£180) and I will be buying the hop-up parts (£500)🤑🤪 I'm so excited 🥳 Until then, I'll be slobbering over your videos 😜👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@bb4l881 Happy birthday from us. With your experience in RC, you should fall right into this one. the gray defender is a great pick. These little trucks are a blast. You might wanna get two. One for your partner. Indoors or outdoors, it doesn't matter. Hike-n-drives are amazing. Either way, you're going to be in for a real treat. I had a plane once! For a day. lol, you already know. I still have my savage XL but haven't run it in years. Hope you have an awesome birthday. And thanks for the support.
@@usssoupership I'm still in my childhood but thinking about getting a TRX4M but if I'm going to get one imma get the Bronco Edition in the first thing I'm going to do on it is probably put the crawler gears and some tires.
Hi. I'm not sure. I can't remember ever running one to the end. All the videos I have made were all on a single battery per truck. I'd have to say at least 30 minutes and even longer. I even bought extra batteries. They have never been opened. The new Ford is a nice choice. You one be disappointed.
Hi. We picked up the trailer lift kit from flub rc. They have the accessory kits also. The wheels are traxxas bead locks and traxxas baja proX. I will try and get some video of the trailers but not sure how soon. Thank you for the visit. I hope this helps for now.flubrc.com/
I was wondering if new wheels and low gears for the defender was necessary? Mostly because my dad (We drive together and he also has a defender) tells me that I don't actually need it. What do you think?😁
Hi. Your Dad is correct. You don't actually need them. The trucks run good right out of the box. However, some upgrades can improve performance. Wheels with brass rings and low range gear are a couple of great upgrades that will. But they are not necessary.
@@usssoupership I think i might buy the low gear for my truck, but I don't know if I should only the gears or the whole motor prebuilt. Thank you very much for the help though😁👍
@teddyvd_ just the gears. You could actually get both high and low range gears. It's much cheaper than the whole assembly. The transmission and motor assembly come with bearings, not bushings. If you're getting wet, that will be an issue. And the gear is so slow that there is really no advantage to bearings. The 1 advantage to having the whole assembly is swapping between gears without completely disassembling the motor and transmission. If you ever have any questions I'm more than happy to offer some advice. Just remember it's important that you don't do anything I say or do without approval from your parents. Thanks brother.
@dylanmallett1157 it was a new body. They come white and unassembled. So I used some window tent paint called smoke. To black them out before I installed the windows. I got it at the hobby shop. Thanks for the visit and question.
Hi. I like it. Thanks for the suggestion. So far, it's looking like cliffhanger will be the official name. We'll as long as it lasts anyway. It's deteriorating pretty fast. Thank you for the visit and for taking the time to give us your input. We appreciate it brother. We have plenty of roots and should be able to apply it somewhere along the trail.
Hi brother. Yes, it is cheaper. 1 tank of gas = 2 sets of tires for these crawlers. All I got to do is stay home, and they almost pay for themselves. Lol I'm living in fantasy land. Hope you have been doing well. I miss racing with you guys.
That was one of the best climbs I have seen in micro crawler world.
