Navajo Silver Smithing (Progress)... A video showing my Grandma Barbara Guerro and my sister Renita Guerro working on Native American Jewelry (Squash Blossom)
Wow your craftsmanship is Amazing! I'm honored to watch you. Thank you so much for the beauty you create 🙏🏼🌊🌅💙 Do you have a video of her making the squash blossom? And would like to see the final stage Please 🙏🏼
A'ho Your craftsmanship is wonderful. If I can just ask a question about a piece that I had It was a Bear Claw Neckless it was stamped Michael ? It was a beautiful piece story went that it was made for a Medicine Man. Was wondering if it could be ID by photo? Thank you.
Does she teach classes? Omg I would pay to learn some culture and history from her! I’m Chickasaw but native metal, and beadwork is similar to the same ❤️
Amazing work! I have a question....I see she soldered the silver balls on after she had finished soldering the bezels, etc. on the bracelet. I thought all the embelishments had to be soldered at the same time. How is it possible to solder again without melting the pieces already attached? Thanks. I know this was posted a long time ago!
You use different types of solder. (Hard, Medium, Easy) Easy solder has a lower melting point than hard solder so you won't reflow the hard or medium solder when applying embellishments.
love hearing her speak Navajo.... such a gift she is to the world!
My husband is literally silversmithing right now. I ❤️love❤️ this video.
Beautiful, I can only admit. If it is your passion, that means more than all the money in the world.
Absolutely beautiful! I would love to sit with her and learn, what talent! Thank you for this video.

we all have our ways of crafting, that's the way she's always done it

Nizhoni :-)
What did you dip the silver bezel in before placing it on braclet to solder?
It was most likely flux.
Is the green flux a self made solution or something bought?
I wanna know this to! Is that radiator fluid?
Bought
What was the green solution?
BrokenRRT flux
How can i buy one ?
