Hey Jessie, thank you for uploading this! I'm been a jeweler for more than 35 years now, with less to more engagement in the business, till we manage several years ago, to set a shop along with my wife, but in the last times things went tough, and since the pandemic arrives I start to disbelieve in all the dreams that we have. Now I can't stand in my studio for more that 15 to 20 minutes maybe twice a week!....Your passion and commitment water my eyes, and remind me that I was, I Thank You Greatly. Gustavo.
Beautiful film, not just about craftsmanship and what that means, but also about the struggles to balance life and doing what you love. And how sometimes, you combine life and love, which is beautiful.
the peace that comes from being busy on the craft, any craft... wether it is carving or soldering or just drawing a plan...nothing else is in your mind space... just you and the thing you are making. Great video. new sub
Ruby thank you for inspiring, I have done different things for making Christmas presents for family flavored Olive Oils and Vinigars to some other things not as wonderful as the Olivia and vinegar, I have recently decided to make a physical move and go down my own creative path with many ideas that I right now don't have the room and would like to Stay but the situation isn't working for me any longer, plus want to move closer to family still far enough were they will have choose to visit an hour away or so. Anyway yiu have inspired me and thank you for the lovely picture of your life as it is very similar to what I want to create my reality to look like. Be Blessed and at Peace.. Doug
First time seeing you , great inspiration. You're living my dream. I'm retired now and LOVE sitting at my bench. My plan is to do art shows. I enjoy fabrication , take a raw piece of metal and miscellaneous stone and make something beautiful. Thanks for sharing , God bless you and yours.
Struggle and strive ! That is my problem, I think that I am scared. Sometimes I get anxious and in a hurry to finish something. Your dream is similar to mine but I don't know if I am passionate enough. One good thing is that my wife is always there to support me with any of my dreams. Thank you for this video.👍
this was so inspiring as i bought a bus to convert to a Shop/rv so i can travel and work and enjoy our country! may stop buy in the future. love your work! i like working old school also.
Very well done , really admire your tanasity. I recently retired and want to just create body art (jewelry). Been collecting various material , just saw you for the first time and really looking forward to seeing more.
I left my job after my boss embarrassed me I front of everyone. I quit the same day and I'm making the jump for myself. I thank you for putting up this video. I'm also a silver Smith I am into martial arts, rock music, and Indian types of jewellery so I encorporate these three aspects in my pieces. I'm at peace my soul is calm and I absolutely love doing this

Jesse Lewis, I have a good friend, just turned 85 a few days ago. He has been doing what you are doing for 50 + years. He found his niche in 1979 on a Pecos River canoe trip through the Tran-Pecos region of Texas, when he was caught up in a flood, and woke up the next morning in a limestone cave. The walls of the cave spoke to him. Bill Worrell is now world famous, with a gallery in Santa Fe, and in Sedona, AZ. He is/was my dad's best friend since birth, from a tiny west Texas town. He will be the first to tell you, the artist's road is not an easy one. Perseverance and pain will get you there, and time. Never quit doing what you love, and it will come to you through your love. Love and Light. www.billworrell.com/index.html
Inspiring. Thank you....and may all your dreams come true. I'm off to find you on instagram. ps I've just started (late-ish in life to learn the craft- and am loving it. The idea that i can continue (after the lessons) on my own with simple tools makes my heart sing
you have the skills to figure it out - you can do it ! Don't think about it - Do it It always works it self out - you are on your path - you have the rest of your life to fail - but you won't-----stop trying
Beautiful work and inspirational....BUT please, for you and your family, use safety goggles, put your hair back, Use light welding goggles to protect your eyes with oxy acetylene torch (even with a micro torch), wear a mask of you need to when buffing, and I don't think you have ventilation with your torch (even a box fan in your window works). If you got the tools, your safety is part of having them. You are beautiful...and it will help you stay that way.
She just inspired the crap out of me. Took my feelings right our of my chest and put them into words.
i love jessie's work. and her kiddo is such a character. 💚
