How to change or modify side lights on BMW E90

- In this video I'll show how to access and change your side lights (angel eyes) on BMW 3 series E90 E91 E92 E93.
You will also see how I slightly modified the lamp to be able to change just the 12v 10W light bulb and not the whole lamp as you're supposed to. - Авто та транспорт
Awesome video buddy! I was quoted $360 to replace at BMW, bought an $11 globe, pulled apart the housing and replaced globe, refitted wheel and wheel arch, good as gold!

ive changed the bulb ( tried 4 different ones) and none of them work. its the front passenger side sidelight . 1st time bmw owner so not sure where fuses are to check
I don't think it's a fuse, but probably a wire issue, cut or not grounded.

You don’t need to take out the tire and entire panel. You could say this is the right way to do it, but with a little tinkering and correct tools you can access the bulbs and complete work without going through trouble of taking entire panel apart.
I don't know how it is on your car, but on my 330i it's not possible without taking the front of the wheel arch off. From above there si no space and through the little trap same problem.
Do you have any tutorials to recommend the easier route?
Did your e90 headlights already come clear or did you replace them to get that ugly orange reflector off?
Mine were clear since I live in France and the european E90s have clear indicator lights (only the bulb is orange).
I've been wanting to change mine but can't find a DIY or a place that can do it. Allot of people tell me if I try to do myself you I can't since it's glued on. On top of that I can't find a link that sells a clear replacement. If you have suggestions or know of a link please let me know. Thank you for replying!
I'm not 100% sure but I think you have to change the whole headlight :¬/.

what is the oem bulb size and the led bulb size you used?
The original is a 12V 10W BA9S bulb. The LED one was also a BA9S but not bright enough.

I like the yellowish color of the angel eyes, but I might change one day.
