I like the Auctioneer he is the first one that acts human and admits that there is issues with how owners don’t or can’t look after their horses. He also acknowledges what a great job they are doing. 💜
I dont like how the last video when he was Auctioning off one of the amish horses legit said "he's been with the amish he's been a slave for his entire life" something like that. Like what a gross thing to say. I also think they should take more of a stand for the horses. They do not equal the same as a cow or pig.
Please show more film of quarantine horses being put into pasture. It's so beautiful. And makes it a bit easier to watch and take in all the horrible stuff. It would also be great to see more footage of the personalities of the horses that are recovering, or follow an individual from auction to adoption. That might show us the value of each horse as an individual...each has their own story, their own experience, their own personality and show that there is hope. I also think it is wonderful that the dark side is shown, and that some are not able to be saved, but receive respect and kindness at their end. You guys are amazing.

It's great the Auctioneer let you film and gave an interview. I could not imagine if this were all done privately. The way you work and build relationships for the better treatment of animals is really something to admire.

Tawnne and Jason. The both of you are incredible humans. I am a horse advocate and always try to do the best thing for the horse. I’ve turned neighbor’s in for letting their horses go through winter without hay. I’ve always wanted to rescue but it’s never worked out. So thank you for all that you do for these wonderful creatures.
I love seeing them run out into the pasture. I bet they are so happy to see plentiful food and a beautiful safe environment. Thank you Horse Plus team for doing that for the horses. If I was closer I would I to just come and clean feet give bathes. It has been years since I had my horses but still love them so much.

You people are angels on earth for these poor horses. Hopefully the day comes when the Big Lick and the cruelty some horses suffer is consigned to history. Please show these horses flat shod, as they are naturally beautiful movers. Let them live their lives pain free and happy. 🐎

It’s disgusting that people that show Tennessee walkers get so defensive saying no abuse no abuse yet everyday hundreds or more of these horses die from shear abuse.
they should do the same to the people who does this to the horses. Horses are the most lovable and friendly creations, I don't get why people do this!!!!

Ugh, they should educate themselves. As far as I know only Tennessee allows big lick anymore. Big lickers hide and many, many people especially outside of the horse world don't realize they still exist. Never mind exactly what they do to their poor horses.

These episodes always leave me even more broken hearted. Humans don't deserve animals. I wish there was more to be done about the abuse.
Indicakitty, I know right. People have to learn and get involved especially with the abuse of The Tennessee walking horse for Audiences pleasure. I don’t care if it’s cold or not it Hass to stop . If people enjoy watching that at a horse show there all abusers as well. It’s just heartbreaking because that breed is a beautiful breed.

Soring is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen or read about. Hooves fall off, horses die from the pain. They have no turn out. All before they’re three.

@@anna_mitchell2139 In one video I watched, the staff of HPHS where having a pre open house adoption event meeting and there was a horse in the stall that they were standing in front of just raising Cain and you could hear in his calls he was so frightened. Tawny stated that he was acting that way because he had been sored in the past and prior to having it done, he would be in a stall with a bunch of people gathered around . My God, can you imagine the terror that poor animal must have endured to be conditioned to that point? They moved him outside so he wouldn't be so upset.

2 weeks ago, I lost my 18.2 yr. old jack russell terrier. last week, a 2.5 yr old jack russell terrier, was forced out of his home, since puppyhood and he came to me. best thing i have done so far in 2021.
The lady board member was so grateful for what she was experiencing she should recommend fellow members do this at least once She impressed me blessings to her

it has to be that they hate/dislike the treatment of the horses... there are times i can't decide to "like" or "dislike" a vid. LOVE what these ppl are doing FOR the horses but HATE what has been done TO them!
Awesome episode. At 21:22 to see the young lady hugging the horse's head, and seeing that the horse's head was bigger than the girls upper torso... was a little eye opening to say the least.
Loved the 1+ hours episode where you rescued the 53.

Love you guys save as many horses that you guys can in the next months I am still saving up money to donate it to you guys
My favourite part is when the healthy saved horses get let out into the big paddock. They just run as freely as horses should be able to. They’re not burdened by anybody on their back, they don’t have anybody pulling at their mouth, and they can just do whatever they want. I’m not against people riding horses but to see them in the environment that they should be in, is bliss.

Well done congratulations for rescuing so many horses and saving there lives we all thank you and when one of your workers got shouted at by a kill buyer I wanted to just say to him to his face , when don’t you save horses your doing the wrong thing and there doing the right give horses lives so if your gonna shout do it in your bosses face and say exactly what I said and just knowing your going to hell and there

I really admire this vet, and Tawney and her husband, and all those who helped save these horses. I encourage all the ladies to eat more veggies, and less meat and carbs. The horses will love you for it!

Those poor babies. My cousin used to show Tennessee Walkers and had a room full of trophies. Had a Grand champion too. I was young and pray he never did that to any of his. I do know he never sold any of them. He'd only show one maybe two at a time. When he was done showing them he kept them til they passed.
If the big lick keeps happening I think that people should feel there pain with being burned with oils.
The cowards that did this to these horses is surreal!

The Tennessee walking horse and it's chemical burns break my heart. I mean all the stories do, but it's so heartbreaking for people to be willingly hurting animals for their own selfish benefit. I'm a single mom without a lot of resources but if I could I will and would donate to you. My dream is to have a therapy ranch for rescued animals 🥰🦅🙏☺️
