I love horses with all my heart. I've had a worse ever since I was 5 years old and I wish I wasn't 73 years old right now because I would come and work for you. I would just love working with horses and I would love to be with you to help you with these horses. Keep up the good work people. Thank God for you bless you all
I was so happy to hear you talk about the blind horses. The lady a few shows ago who adopted two blind horses, encouraged other adopters to not overlook blind ones as they are wonderful, and deserve a good life. Thank you for all you do for these horses xoxo
Yeah . I have had the absolute pleasure of own my boy for 7 yrs ( he blind in his right eye) now and he is amazing. And now teaches people to ride and has help people get over their fear of horses. He my world and is going no where. They are soo worth it and the bond is overwhelming.
I remember a story years ago that I read where a blind pony was adopted by a mom desperate to help her blind muscular dystrophy son. The story still chokes me up, remembering what that pony was like. The kid could ride for hours and the pony would never even stumble, and refuse to move if he knew his hooves were too long. The kid heartbreakingly died about a year into having him. The mom swore to keep the pony until he died and bury him next to her son.
When I was younger I had a Shetland pony mare who was blind in her left eye due to an accident when she was a foal. She's the sweetest, I basically learned how to properly ride on her
@@blossomherd3921 So. Out of Interest - is it possible to ride a blind horse? What's the challenges when it comes to the barn to stand it? Would you tell?
Today I had to put down my best friend of 17 yrs. All day long all I said to myself last act of kindness. After 2 yrs of fighting cushings and hoof problems I had to admit her quality of life was severely compromised . She had lost so much weight , and started to refuse her medication. I had to ask everyone I knew iam doing the right thing , right? I would cry while saying she's my best friend, she outlasted the husband trying to camouflage the broken heart of having to make that horrendous decision. When the vet arrived and looked at her , they believed that she had an infection in her bones and probably had sepsis. So indeed I had made the right decision. I couldn't be there but my daughter sat with her with Rosie's head on her lap and whispered in her ear all the good times we all had with her and what a gift she was to our family. Thank you guys for giving me the strength to fulfill my gift to my horse of the last gift of kindness. Run Rosie run , till we meet again .
I'm so sorry for your loss of your Rosie. You did so good for her, showing how much you loved her. How amazing your daughter was! Well done both of you. They love us and give us their all, so we must do the same for them. God bless all of you and specially Rosie, who will be waiting for you when your time comes. There are so many surgeries and heart meds for people, and artificial bones and discs, it’s a shame some of these techniques can’t be used for equines. I know the physiology is different, and maybe some rescues are too far gone, but there are artificial discs and heart meds and pins to fuse broken bones and discs. Maybe someone will discover how to apply these solutions to horses. There should be stricter laws to penalize negligent and abusive owners!
Thank you so much for letting the two horses go together. I used to rescue ferrets and I had a bonded pair that did everything together, Zeus and Chaos. When Zeus got cancer, we worried about what would happen with the other. Turned out Chaos had cancer as well. I asked the vets to inject them at the same time, so they would never be without each other. I cried when I saw you had done the same. Thank you for your compassion and understanding that animals can love each other deeply.

@@katmandudawn8417 I agree. The ferret mills and irresponsible breeding are definitely partially to blame, but I also think that pet food in general is full of chemicals and unhealthy fillers that reduce any animal's lifespan. R.I.P. to the 4 horses who had to cross the Rainbow Bridge , where they now run forever free across green pastures . But at the same time , its awesome that all y'all were able to save 20 more from the slaughter pipeline and give them a chance at a wonderful life . Thank goodness overall this group not as horrific as many rescues but always so tough to see the ones that have suffered so terribly by wretched humans! Thx as always for loving them all to the end and giving the rest another chance at happiness with the wonderful humans with loving caring responsible hearts. Catcha next time...

My heart goes out for the horses that are suffering!! thank all your staff and vols for there caring and big hearts. What a great example of LOVE and COMPASSION each of you are showing! GOD bless each of you!!!
I am so thankful for wonderful people like you. You care for them and rescue them from horrific conditions. I cannot believe how an innocent animal has to be starved or abused. Those people who have neglected their horses should go to a very bad place, H*ll!!!! I have 5 beautiful horses myself and they get the best of care, shelter, food, water, treats, etc.
Suggest the people that were concerned about blind horses. Tell them to pull up Enzo ENZO and it’s amazing what a blind horse could do. Thanks you guys for doing what you do❣️ Love you all❣️
I love what you are doing with these beautiful creatures. If I were younger and lived closer I would be one of your volunteers just to be near these lovely animals and watch them heal and come back from the he'll they have lived through. I'm too old now to be of much help, but I did change my giving through Amazon to Horse Shelter Heroes. It isn't a lot, but every single time that I buy something at Amazon a percentage of what I spend will be donated to you from Amazon. Anyone who shops thru Amazon can do it. Just go to their website and look around and you can decide if you want to help out this way. And I agree with others on here, please keep adopting out the blind babies too. That made that went through on this show was so pretty. If I had a place I would drive all the way out there from MN., and beg to adopt her. 💖💖👍👍
It was great to see the way you videoed more of the horses in this video. Providing good videos of them will help them move along to good homes. Great job!
It was different watching you all saving these horses, more time to spend with each one, more relaxed, less chaos. The euphoria of saving 50+ horses must be amazing but this seemed so much more within your control. Good decision as always. You know what you can do and you have the trust of your supporters and the main object, as many happy horses as you can manage. Love you all. From uk

once again great job guys !!!! i would love to see footage of the horses after they've been checked by the vet , when you let them go to the pasture and watch them running and be happy again ... thank you so much for what you do !
What you all do is incredible. It breaks my heart that the system is the way it is in the US, but grateful that you do what you can to help those you can rescue.
Having worked with disabled people, I am so very grateful that you do not look at the blind horses as damaged. Their needs are special, but they have value and give love as well as deserve to get that - and a good, full life. Their adopters are Earth Angels, as are you wonderful folks at Horse Plus Humane Society.

Call the He She Maybe! Maybe a girl & Maybe a guy! Lolll. I sooo love what y'all do! Like I said before, if I could win the lottery, I'd hook you up! Love you all & what you do for these beautiful animals!
Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving. Appreciate the video and glad you saved more horses. Sad some were in bad shape and hoping that draft can stay upright and put on some weight. Have to agree about the blind horses. Some enjoy riding while others are great pasture friends to others. Their life doesn't have to end over a disability when they haven't given up. Just takes the right home. Stay warm and safe. Excellent video quality and clips.
I am new to watching Horse Plus Humane Society video's, so I am not yet familiar with all of the programs offered. I was wondering if there are any seminar programs where y'all are going to educate and talk at schools and colleges and communities?? Or hold teaching lectures at some events?? I am so happy that the little pony has a chance at being saved and her hooves were finally taken care of. She is so sweet. And the draft horse, lots of huggssssssssss
Thank you for all you do. I have a senior horse, 34 years old, and I couldn't imagine parting with him. He'll be with me until the very end. I'm glad you don't euthanized the blind horses and adopt the ones out who can be. ❤🐎🐎🐎❤
I want to thank all of you, ladies and gentlemen, for rescuing all of these animals. Even the ones that cannot be saved at least they get to be loved on and allowed to go home in peace humanely rather than being butchered in a factory alone. God bless all of you.
Oh it hurts my heart, all the pain those four endured. And it’s easy for me to feel sad and mad for them but I can’t imagine what it is like for y’all. Your hearts are so invested in what you do and it must be wearing on you. I’m so very appreciative of all your efforts!!❤️❤️

Hi to you all xx I am so glad that I found this episode I understand that you DO the right thing for the 4 that were put to sleep Plus I Donate from my heart xx Tear Up when I see the poor horses that were neglected by their owners
All you folks keep up the good work. No horse deserves to be treated like that.
The blind horse that is so sad it’s trusting the people leading it and they lead it to the auction going to the slaughterhouse that makes me cry thank you for saving it
My heart goes out for the horses that are suffering!! thank all your staff and vols for there caring and big hearts. What a great example of LOVE and COMPASSION each of you are showing! GOD bless each of you!!!
God Bless you all for rescuing these sweet horses that people just throw away like trash.
The videography and production of this episode was excellent by the way, really one of the best I've ever seen.
OMG these poor horses with wounds and lumps and overgrown hooves. They will be in such great hands with you all.
I’m so glad you guys put down the best friends together. I bet their galloping together in the green fields of horse heaven right now.
Suggest the people that were concerned about blind horses. Tell them to pull up Enzo ENZO and it’s amazing what a blind horse could do. Thanks you guys for doing what you do❣️ Love you all❣️
I love seeing the horses in pasture when your done assessing them.
Just a fyi WD 40 works great to remove the glue from the stickers . Love what ya'll do.
It was great to see the way you videoed more of the horses in this video. Providing good videos of them will help them move along to good homes. Great job!
I love Doc!
From uk
Thank you for all your love
You guys are awesome. I will be adding you guys to my prayer list. Sending blessings for all the human team and healing blessings for all the four legged furbabies from South Eastern Australia, Dot
Thank God you have such a great vet and so many horse loving people. Love and hugs to you all. It is never easy to let an animal go. But sometimes it is just the right thing to do.
Some very sick heartless humans but some very awsome beautiful humans caring and loving saving beautifull loving animals !Bless you all for this service to them !
I wish i could adopt but live in Australia, anyway love what you do
Maybe you can save an Aussie horse. Check out meet our meat. It doesn't look like there's much hope for the racehorse over there. Gday mate. Happy Christmas 🎄 and thanks for watching this group.
I love the hope and joy in the eyes of the animals after you rescue them. Thank you for what you do.
When you said you would let then pass together- I just burst into tears. That was the most beautiful thing.
What a wonderful gal you are so smart, and so very kind.,with a giant heart. Your entire Crew has such a committment towards the best for all entrusted to walk thru doors
.
Thank you people with hearts.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU GUYS DO FOR THOSE BEAUTIFUL HORSES ❤️ GOD BLESS 🙏
once again great job guys !!!! i would love to see footage of the horses after they've been checked by the vet , when you let them go to the pasture and watch them running and be happy again ... thank you so much for what you do !
I love u all adopting too I would adopt them all you all are amazing bless u for all u do
Again a wonderful thing you are doing for the animals. Thank you very much
What you all do is incredible. It breaks my heart that the system is the way it is in the US, but grateful that you do what you can to help those you can rescue.
That poor mini! I LOVE his sweet face. His eyes!❤️❤️ So hope he can be saved.
This was a wonderful video, thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us. We support you wholeheartedly.
My grandpa had a blind pony he absolutely loved. That was a great little pony. There’s nothing wrong with a blind horse.
Having worked with disabled people, I am so very grateful that you do not look at the blind horses as damaged. Their needs are special, but they have value and give love as well as deserve to get that - and a good, full life. Their adopters are Earth Angels, as are you wonderful folks at Horse Plus Humane Society.
Hello Nina, Merry Christmas to you. I hope you are safe and having a good weather. I live in Virginia and I'm looking for new friend, hope you don't mind.
Thank You ALL SO MUCH!
You're Wonderful care you give to the horses is a pleasure to watch!
God Bless you all

Quint had his work cut out for him. Good job. I hope that pony improves as planned as you continue to fix its hooves.
Good for you tawney!I hope you have a good life with cowboy. And good luck with the auction.
Your vet is so great, just love him❤️❤️❤️
I love all the music you find to go with the videos!
Respect.. 👍 Greetings from Denmark.
Thank you for your advice to the folks who own horses that are past their riding years. Provide for your elderly horse as you would want to be provided for when you get frail and old.
Thank you for saving these animals, and giving these jewels some days of comfort. God bless you all.
Thank you jcmac47, sue & Kathmandu for sharing your stories
You are beautiful people, 🌹🌹🌹
Call the He She Maybe! Maybe a girl & Maybe a guy! Lolll. I sooo love what y'all do! Like I said before, if I could win the lottery, I'd hook you up! Love you all & what you do for these beautiful animals!
Love the nose of the paint 🥰😍❤️
Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving.
Appreciate the video and glad you saved more horses.
Sad some were in bad shape and hoping that draft can stay upright and put on some weight.
Have to agree about the blind horses.
Some enjoy riding while others are great pasture friends to others. Their life doesn't have to end over a disability when they haven't given up. Just takes the right home.
Stay warm and safe. Excellent video quality and clips.
Thank you to everyone…Hey Doc….Hug and a lick back at cha….glad you are doing well..✨🙏✨❣️
JUST LOVE YOU GUYS, WE PROUDLY wear your clothing and hats, love sending you support from our herd to yours
The blind horse touches my heart!! 🥺💔
I feel so bad for all the horses thank you for everything you do, you guys are amazing and no one can tell you otherwise ❤️
Thank you for all you do. I have a senior horse, 34 years old, and I couldn't imagine parting with him. He'll be with me until the very end. I'm glad you don't euthanized the blind horses and adopt the ones out who can be. ❤🐎🐎🐎❤
The bonded pair, the foundered one and the one with the bad fetlocks (?) 😭😭😭. Thank you for saving them.
I want to thank all of you, ladies and gentlemen, for rescuing all of these animals. Even the ones that cannot be saved at least they get to be loved on and allowed to go home in peace humanely rather than being butchered in a factory alone. God bless all of you.
26:28 that beautiful paint that is near the camera should be named rain, from spirit
Personally I love black horses but I rly love the paint, like a lot aa
The paint is the one I Love.
It's so obvious that everyone cares deeply about these horses. I would love to see Doc go to the auction but I think it will hurt his heart to see some of those cases. You guys are doing these souls a great kindness.
They always look so hopeful when you guys are working with them.
You need to take us to more auctions so we can see who you save❤️
I love that you all help the animals
That medicine hat is gorgeous. I’d like to have that horse.
