To Cindy's Husband... You Sir are a MAN, and a true Husband. First garage, then Harley.... OUTSTANDING!!!
To Cindy: Congrats on the Dream, wishing you much continued success.
My heart goes out to those who "surrendered" a loved one, and Bless those who helped both Horse and Human.

It's so funny seeing someone who isn't used to the weather talk about WI. When I saw the snow I was like "oh how cute they got a dusting" 😄 I have lived in WI now for 7 years and anything under 2 feet is t really snow by now lol

Perhaps in a few years, hopefully, the organization will be flourishing, and she'll be able to surprise him, returning his beloved bike to its rightful ownership, or by getting him another bike he'd often dreamed of having, but couldn't afford.

This is what my wife and I want to do. She was one of the top Arabian horse trainers before she got Fibro. She had to stop showing them, and started showing minis. Now we just want to rescue the horses in need. Unfortunatley we had to move and are now looking for land in order to start our dream

It must be incredibly hard to surrender an animal you love. Kudos to those who realise their limitations, and what is best for their loved horse. There should be state funding in the interest of compassion, for the wonderful shelters who receive these beautiful creatures. 💝

that's the ideal situation, the horses get help before they starve or are in pain because the owner knows they don't have the funds to care for them properly but they do have a safe place to bring the horse to. The fear of giving your animal to someone who you think will be a good new owner but ends up scamming you, reselling the horse for profit or sending them to slaughter, is real. Some people give a good impression but are really not good people, they are just good at acting like they are. I also think that they don't press the owners on info because the owners are not keen to be filmed, might be embarassed and honestly, if I was in that situation, I'd be hurting really bad. Some owners do give some information, but most, as far as I've seen, want to have the drop off done as fast as possible, like a bandaid...

It just tears me up to see these horses being surrendered. This had to be the hardest decision some of these owners ever had to make. I'm so grateful I was able to keep my beloved Arabian, Ariel, till the end of his days, despite my economic hardships. And that he was happy and well cared for until his passing from a stroke at the age of 27. I'm so glad I never had to make this decision.
Thank you to Pony Tales and Horse Plus for providing this service to these owners, and making it free of judgements. What matters most is the outcome for these horses.

    Hi again
How wonderful you are now able to train and pass along what you've learned to help new rescues. What a very special legacy for all the years of your hard work love compassion and life rescue! All one has to do is look in the horse's eyes when they realize they're safe and cared for once again.
It's breathtaking to see others whose hearts are true and the sacrifices willingly made.

Here in Texas today since we have gotten that snow and it froze there was a horse that got out and has been running on the roads and was out for hours. She was a mustang that is a lawn ornament so she was very scared she was cold and worst of all she was bleeding on all 4 of her feet. We eventually caught her and she calmed down. She is being vet checked and getting the care she needs. It hurt my heart so much seeing that poor girl running in this weather and with her feet bleeding. I love horse plus and y’all inspire me to help horses. Keep it up horse plus u inspire so many people !!!

As a country farm girl, animal lover, owner, rescuer, and in the veterinarian field, my heart still sinks and hurts when I see any animal in pain/scared, etc. It takes a toll on ya, many things you cannot unsee, or forget! You just be thankful that you are able to help get them by owner surrender or from the kill pen, and help them now! If you have never been around these types of things, it's hard to understand.

America is huge, with people from many different cultural backgrounds. It makes for difficulty in creating consensus. The real problem however, is that we have a small, malignant, cabal of oligarchs, who subscribe to the practice of maintaining their power, by insisting upon fomenting and spreading both mediocrity, incompetence and confusion. They deliberately undermine innovation, ingenuity and individual agency, unless they know they'll be the direct and only benefactors. Hence, it becomes odiously cumbersome and unduly difficult to make common sense, logical changes, for oneself, one's kith and kin, and _especially_ for the common good.

Could someone please let us know how many of the horses surrendered on this day had to be euthanized and how many are adoptable. Thank you and God Bless you all who is involved with this organization.

I haven’t heard Horse Plus mention who donated the $10,000 to their own organisation which enabled them to, in turn, pass on to Pony Tales. I would love for Horse Plus to give a shout out to all of their generous donors who made it possible to help Pony Tales get the barn.. Keep up the great work Piny Tales and Horse Plus..

The $10,000 grant that we gave ponytails was made possible by one of our donors who passed away and left a portion of her estate to us. She had a passion for helping horses and all animals have a better life. We couldn't think of a better way to continue her legacy of loving animals than to create a mentoring program to help the greatest number of animals. She followed our organization for years but only emailed us twice. Once to ask a question and one other time to update her email on our email list. We are so grateful to her for making this mentoring program possible in continuing to share her love of animals.
