I can never, ever get tired of this concert. The version of All I Know is Tonight is pure amazement, beyond words...once I get to see Jaga live, I can die and go to hell for all I care, for I know I'll go happy...
When a band as talented and skilled as this one isn't among the most famous and recognized musical performers in the world, you know the world we live in is just very sad. Jaga Jazzist for life!

Muy pero muy bueno... Hace rato que la novedad no copulaba tan bien con la emoción . Un deleite escuchar a esta banda... Ojalá vengan a nuestra América latina.
I finally found a type of jazz that I don't feel neutral about, or outright despise. They actually are able to write original songs that have good hooks and melodies. Lots of replay value. World class band!
Yeah, I saw them a few years ago and it's just mesmerizing to watch. So while pretty much the entire audience bobbed their heads in unison, we were all too entranced to move much more than that :P
While I agree he covered a lot of ground and was amazingly talented, the problem I always had with Zappa was the feeling of mocking unseriousness. I understand why he was that way and respect him greatly, it just was never my cup of tea. This is also much more harmonious than dissonant. Zappa went for some groundbreaking and at times purposefully incoherent and jarring music with some extremely zanely or downright silly lyrics to mask his cynicism and critique of society from the uptight censors of the times and also probably because it was fun and what he enjoyed. This is in the intensity of Zappa but in the direction of coherence and harmony and not zaney in any way. Zappa took a sledge hammer and blasted through the doors of popular music into the avant garde in order to shock and awe people into understanding there was more out there for music. You might even give him credit for allowing bands this off the beaten path to exist at all but I doubt he was a direct influence. I would say this is much closer to jazz or chamber music with influences from and in the vein of rock and electronic music.

+Derek Gann Wanna go to a seated Jaga show and blink to the rhythm of the trumpet? (ppl are standing, in perfect, polite lines 19:34). I kid, I dont care any more, the music is too good for my bewildered comments. The evolvment of this band is unique, love the new matierial as much as the old.
each musician holds to their notes. builds with rhythm. continues with one melody, then two. the build continues. the ears collect as the group builds. together the excruciating dissonance becomes clear hubbub of contemplation and grace. it falls apart and some hover. the lost night ends. suddenly, it's Day and the upbeat continues with explosion of light in just a few seconds. ;-) watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=wNcQj4PJLMg#t=1451s
Sometimes I think this is the best set *anyone* has ever played.
I second that.
keeps me coming back ;)
@@iamandrewradford How about today? :)
Where has this been all my life?! Thank you, UA-cam recommendations!

Greetings from Balkans!
Awesome band. Thank you for uploading this.
What a superb gang of lads; amazing music. This is what happened to jazz-rock? I thought it had died, but this is fresher than a spring chicken.
this is fantastic!! makes me almost forget SNARKY PUPPY....
There's almost everything I love about music in that band, it's quite incredible
Trop beau !!!
Tout est là... les meilleurs titres du groupe sont présent !
Simplemente, ¡sorprendente!
some say the audience is so quiet, but tbh. hearing this music I can't decide if to dance or dream ....^^
Its 5 in the morning. I should get up to work at 7 and im still watching this... again.
I finally found a type of jazz that I don't feel neutral about, or outright despise. They actually are able to write original songs that have good hooks and melodies. Lots of replay value. World class band!

Damm!!! What A Show.
thanks so muchhh for uploading this... made my day! :))
These guys are amazing.
I'd say its not the kind of concert to go nuts in. People are just there to enjoy the music. Anyway, i saw them one year ago and it was amazing!

You should come back again to Istanbul. I miss it so much.
Can't wait to see them in November at Royal Festival Hall, London!
Did you see them? How was it?
Estoy feliz :))
Absolut amazing!!!
Does anyone know of an audio only version of this performance? Would love to download and listen to it forever. So awesome.
Just go back in time and listen to Zappa. He covered all the basses!!!

Wow, I have several studio tracks by them but never heard them live before. They are incredible! Does anyone know if they released a live album?
Reluctant Dragon there's some live stuff available online but not sure it is official. the britten sinfonia stuff.

I'm amazed that the crowd is not moving, not even bobbing!!!
Or...or they are so polite, that showing emotions, negetive or positive is considered offensive.@roboteyes
+Tomer Maimoni perhaps it's a seated show?
+Derek Gann Wanna go to a seated Jaga show and blink to the rhythm of the trumpet? (ppl are standing, in perfect, polite lines 19:34).
I kid, I dont care any more, the music is too good for my bewildered comments.
The evolvment of this band is unique, love the new matierial as much as the old.
they are paralyzed by this magical music.
flute through a distortion pedal
They should collab with dorian concept that would be dope
same here!
Where the hell is this?! The audience is completely still, while the band shreds it! Are these people humans?
JERMY!!!!!
Day 29:21 - so much better than on the album!
i find that the six is always better live.
I hope whoever edited this video has learned in the time since then that it's ok to linger on a shot for more than 3 seconds.
Hi what is the bit from 40:00 onwards?
needs some edits. but, i'm not perfect. these guys come close to it though.
