    Your black paint appears too thick. I used to exclusively use Createx opaques and thin them at least 20%. I can then spray them at 15-20# easily. If you use Createx reducer and UVLS mixed 50/50, when added to the paint it flows and adheres much better. I think I’m switching to Golden as I believe it’s easer to shoot, but I still add UVLS so the paint flows and adheres better. If your paint is mixed correctly with the right reducer you’ll virtually never get tip dry. I would really like to be able to shoot straight from the bottle but mixing gives me significantly better results even though it’s more trouble. Your airbrush is also far easier to clean.
    Dropping the pressure allows more control, you have less tip dry, and less overspray
    On your alligator clips, putting a piece of masking tape over the teeth helps stop the clips from scratching the base paint

      I know it's been a while since you commented but I've been diluting my opaque black and it is performing so much better. Thanks for the tips.
