That wasn't a harmonica. It's a talk box which is basically a guitar effect device that the player controls the sound by using their mouth while playing the guitar
Not a metronome but a cowbell. There’s a famous SNL skit with Don’t Fear The Reaper song were the producer keeps wanting more cowbell. It should be on UA-cam.
That is a cowbell not a metrodome; but you are spot on....it's a vibe !!!. React to the live Pulse concert songs: KEEP TALKING (see live using the voice box like on this song) and ONE OF THESE DAYS also SORROW, SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND, and RUN LIKE HELL which is their closer. You will be floored at the show and the quality of video, production, music, and talent for a 1994 concert!! See they are just good ol boys that love what they are doing, and are perfectionists at this point in their careers
Everything about this album deserves some research, in order to appreciate all its depth. Whether it's the music, the way they made certain sounds, the meaning of the lyrics and even the background which explains the harshness of the lyrics on this album. With Pink Floyd, it's always interesting to know the intention of the message conveyed in their songs, taking into account the overall context of the album.
Pink Floyd could make amazing music out of pig squeals, dogs barking, sheep noises, cash registers,...pretty much anything you can think of. To really understand this song yiu either need to be British and old enough to remember the 70s, or a historian who has also read about the song. The three verses all directly address specific, prominent individuals in British politics. Um not actually sure who the first two are, but the last is Mary Whitehouse.
@@rancidcrabtree. the first verse isnt about a particular individual, its more aimed at the big business men getting rich on the back of ordinary people's hard work while the workers themselves were struggling to make ends meet...the second verse is almost certainly aimed at Margaret Thatcher 🐷🐷🐷
The whole “Animals” album is great…my favorite by them. Roger loosely based it on the book “Animal Farm.” The animal noises on all 3 songs from this album are not sampled, LOL. They’re done by David’s guitar or Rick’s synth. Hope you do “Dogs” and “Sheep” soon! 🔥🎵🔥
Out of all Pink Floyd's albums , " ANIMALS " is on my top 5. Roger Waters played this song during the Trump Impeachment trial. He had giant pigs & Trump dressed like a 🐷. Try watching " Animal Farm " with this song. You'll get more into it.
I don't care if you like Trump or not. But I wouldn't display it in your videos. It invokes strong reactions, whether positive or negative. You will probably lose potential subscribers. My recommendation is to keep it neutral. BTW, I like your reaction to the song.
sad but true people cant get along over a political view its sad because there are so many other things to keep people together but political will tear them all apart
Love David's use of the talk box. Every song he uses it on. Pink Floyd can mesmerize you. Masterclass

More Pink Floyd then I’ll subscribe👍

I don't think Roger ever disclosed who the first two verses are about, but I get a strong 'Margaret Thatcher' vibe out of the second.

Pig, dog & sheep noises were either David’s guitar or Rick’s synth…not real animals! 👍🏼

I'll subscribe for a number of reasons. one, obviously, the Trump book. Best President since Reagan.
