You need to put salt and rinse aid for the best performance.Salt stops the limescale and the rinse aids dries the items properly. Although you maybe using all in one tablets you still need the salt and rinse aid.
I suggest buy one which gives maximum guarantee and good discount. Most of good brand import the dishwasher from Turkey. Also look for good after sales service.

Do note that there's heating process in the dishwasher to dry the utensils. Your vegetables may get spoiled. Probably Rinse Mode should be fine for washing fruits/vegetables as no heating is done in that mode.
If you are using tablet for washing not other things like detergent powder+salt+rinse aid then every cycle you will need one tablet. Cycle ends tablet finishes, there's no display indicator for it

One may try following Substitutes 1) Substitute “Special Salt“ with good quality of edible Crystalline Salt ( 1Kg salt @ ₹15/-) 2) Dishwasher Detergent can be easily substituted with “Baking Soda” powder add two to three drops of Vim liquid detergent to it. 3) Rinse Aid can be substituted with Kalvert or any good quality of “White Vinegar“ with equal quantity of drinking water. All above substitutes Works well.
Substitutes are suggested after long periods of usage ( > 8 years) of Siemens dishwasher. However if you think it would damage the dishwasher, don’t use substitutes. In fact the excessive chemicals traces of detergent and Rinse aid on utensils are more harmful to human body , if not removed in final rinse.
How to check traces of excessive chemicals viz., Detergent and Rinse aid:- Take a glass or utensil from dishwasher after a washing cycle is complete. Feel surface of utensil / drinking glass , do you find it slippery ? Now pour some water in glass. If you see excessive foam / bubbles as as you pour drinking water in the glass that is the signal of excessive detergent. Please read chemical contents on Rinse Aid bottle. Check out on Internet, Little amount of Rinse aid can give you skin rashes particularly if one is allergic to it. I hope now it’s clear to you.

There are different sizes in three basket dishwasher. Go for bigger size.
