Your mohair sweater is beautiful and the blue does pop. Beautiful yarn. You look good in the blue. To me blue is calming and serene like the ocean. I like warmer colors too. That's why I like knitting so I can play with all the colors.

Greetings from Moscow, Russia! Congratulations on getting a new job, so glad you're going to do something you enjoy:) I've been watching your podcasts in a row for the last three days - you are amazing! In one of the recent podcasts you talked about mistakes in your knitting. In Russian knitting culture there is a belief that these small screw ups are some kind of amulet/talisman/charm for someone who wears this garment. It's the best interpretation I've ever heard :)

I love that colors have feelings for you. I see colors that way as well. But for me the autumnal colors the brown and golds that are warm and cozy for you remind me of the cold wet weather of fall and winter and are “cold” colors for me. I live in a much warmer climate so blues and greens are warm and sunny, bright summer colors to me. So fascinating how different people perceive things in such wildly different ways. What an amazing world we live in.

Oh wow, I always thought "Dinner for one" (which is the name of that black-and-white play) was a German thing. Even though it´s in English, British people apparently never heard of it and it´s a big tradition to watch it on the 31st of December (silvester) in Germany - which is why I always thought it´s only watched here :D So cool to hear this being a tradition in Norway, too!!
I discovered your podcasts last week and currently binge-watching all of them ♥

I'm working with rustic yarn: 60% Fine Irish Wool & 40% New Zealand Wool to make the Rug sweater, free on Ravelry, changing the design abit, thou. Maybe I'll join your KAL. It would be my first time. Yes, I agree with you about the rustic yarn, I want use it more. Love your projects. Your end photos showed how scary it is to drive there in the dark! Be careful! Thanks so much!🧶

Your cute girl getting her tummy rubbed, adorable.
Congratulations on your new job, I hope it is everything that you want it to be.
I've now started on my knitting journey, my circular needles arrived last Wednesday so I've cast on simple stocking stitch scarf with cables running up it. I'm so proud that I worked out the pattern for myself. It is probably very simple to all you experienced knitters but I've only worked out crochet before it took me a while. I find circular needles easier, probably because I'm used to crochet hooks. Thankyou for your inspiration, I will make an aran cabled cardigan for myself, I'm determined. How long it will take is a different matter!
Another lovely video, thanks. Many Blessings to you xXx

Just found your podcast and I’m glad I did! Your new sweater (the one you’re wearing) is just beautiful. I was intrigued by the way you knit. It’s speedy and smooth and I can’t really tell what makes it different from other knitting styles I’ve seen. I know both continental and the English way but perhaps you’re going over the top of the needle...? Anyway, I wonder if you might show us how you knit, or talk a bit about it. Scandinavian knitters have techniques that could be from generations back, which I think is really cool. 😊

I can emphasize. I was skiing and crashed with a snowboarder. My humerus was broken in 2 places. I propped myself in a chair every day and knit a cardigan. It was all I could do! They don't operate or set a humerus in Canada. They just let it hang and give you strong painkillers!

I am glad to see you again! I was a little worried since we hadn't heard from you in two weeks. I am glad you survived going over the mountain again! I live in Florida now, but I lived in Switzerland for a few years in my twenties. We had to drive through mountains on icey and snowy roads in the winter, so I remember those conditions well, especially coming out of tunnels and finding the other side of the mountain frozen and slippery! Buying a small 4WD Subaru made a huge difference back then. I don't know If they still make those... I have been enjoying all your videos and just ordered the sweater in Norwegian and will attempt to translate it and knit it. I speak three languages but no Norwegian!

    Herrow :)
It's not friction, it's change in temperature that makes wool felt. When I dye yarn I move it around lots, same when I wash my garments. If you have a washing machine that has a steady temperature all will be fine. When that's said, some yarns felt easier than others, unspun is one of them. When you clean your wool mix vineger in the wash it will do several things for your wool. It will reduce the risk of felting and it will make your yarn bloom and become soft. You can not harm your machine or your wool with the vinegar, quite the opposite. :) All the best, Kirvil.

OMG! A terrible triad! You have amazing ROM especially your forearm rotation. It is remarkable that they were able to reduce your radial head. I am a certified hand therapist so I understand completely. Your knitting was the best thing for you.

I love your opening music and it always makes me smile. It is also the opening music to “Keeping Mum” which is one of the most funniest murder mystery films ever. Good luck in your new job.

Oh, I forgot to say, i also end up knitting frantically in December when i don't know what to give as a gift! I have made dozens of slippers and slipper boots and just embarking on a hot water bottle cover.

Happy to see another vlog Inga. I can so relate to you and the accident with your hiking boots. I used to have a pair with the sets of hooks at the top and in my opinion they are just so dangerous. Twice I caught the laces of the other foot in them and managed to fall over flat on my face! Luckily all it was only a fall and no damage apart from my pride. I am pleased you did not any long term damage and are still able to knit too. I am glad about your new job. Your mohair sweater looks so beautiful. I find mohair too fluffy for me to work with and am constantly with an itchy nose when using it. I look forward to seeing your next video.

It has been slow coming to Ontario Canada this year. So happy you decided to extend the Rustic KAL, I am definitely gift knitting right now for Christmas. Take care 💓🇨🇦

It's so funny! We watch Miss Sophie´s 80th Birthday on New Years Eve not on Christmas. But it's also a tradition here in Germany.
