You found so many wonderful bargains! And I can barely wait to see the beautiful projects that yarn turns into. Thank you for sharing your yarn haul, and your project ideas. I just love your podcast!
I was on holidays in Bergen last summer, and there's a shop called Bergen Broderiservice, which I recommend to go to - I went there twice... It is 5 min walking distance from the Bryggen area. They have a lot of Sandness Garn, and I bought a lot at 50% off sale. They also stock hand dyed yarn, and your typical brands like Viking or Knitting for Olive. Found the place by accident and loved it! Google Street view does still show the previous business on the premises, but it gives the correct location.
I was in Bergen just over a week ago and two doors down from there is Faer which had a lot of hilllesvag yarn and a variety of cashmere bases as well. Both are on Ovregaten.
