Kenny Roberts Team KR Proton KR5 and Modenas KR3 500 GP Bikes

Came across these 2 stunning ex Kenny Roberts Proton GP bikes at Mallory Parks festival of 1000 bikes event. The 2004 990cc four stroke Proton KRV5 ridden by Kurtis Roberts and the 2000 500cc V3 two stroke Mk3 Modenas V3 that had Anthony Gobert on board.

The 2003 KR5 with the Lotus engine sounded the best by far...... dare I say it sweeter than the Aprilia RS3.

Before this v5 ktm engine ,they have a v4 with proton engine.

You're thinking of the first evolution they ran during some rounds in 2003. That was actually a V5 produced by Lotus.
