- In this real-life street interview, I asked locals in Skopje what they love and what bothers them about their city. With notes on vocabulary and the Skopje accent to keep in mind, this video provides a unique opportunity to learn from native speakers in a natural context. You'll find transcriptions and translations to help you expand your Macedonian vocabulary and understand sentence structures as used by locals.
Им благодарам на сите што учествуваа! Thanks to everyone who participated!

Bravo! A truly unique video. Фала многу!
Skopje! My favorite city in all of the Balkans! A great place with great people, and of course, a great language. Macedonian is much easier to learn than most of the other languages in the region, and as a foreigner who speaks it (just a little), the reaction from the people I met there was very friendly. I will return! Да живее Македонија!
Прекрасно и многу потребно. Се надевам ќе има уште многу вакви видеа. Би било интересно да слушнеме што размислуваат граѓаните на тема храна. Која храна им е омилена, и дали, колку готват. Поздрав и ви посакувам успешна работа
Hello, I really appreciate your effort and follow you and I would like to see some alphabet and grammar thnigs. Do you have any suggestion for those who are freshman to learn Macedonian language like me? .Thank you for now, looking forward to seeing you share more videos :)
Zdravo! 😊 Thanks so much for your comment! Absolutely, more content on the alphabet, grammar, and vocabulary is on the way! I'm also planning a crash course soon, along with other exciting projects. In the meantime, I recommend immersing yourself in the language as much as possible-check out the playlists on my channel where I share movies, music, and additional language content. Stay tuned for more! Поздрав! 🙌
Jees it feels like they speak so quick when trying to learn. Its like when you hear one word and you know what it is, thinking about it, then they are already 1 sentence ahead xD
Indeed... They spoke at their natural pace, just as they would in everyday conversation, even though they knew it was for a Macedonian learning channel :) It's common for people to speak quickly in their native language, and unless they're involved in teaching or linguistics, they might not think to slow down. But I’d say that’s a great opportunity-try combining it with comprehensible input (slower Macedonian) and natural speech to get the most out of your learning! ☺
