It was a pleasant surprise that you visited Ukraine because I am from Ukraine, and I dream of living in Portugal for at least six months, but unfortunately, it is not possible now. However, there is time to learn Portuguese, and with your help, it is always interesting. Thank you once more!

Hi, am enjoying the lesson but could take time to understand and speak Portuguese . I love Portugal as a country and the people because am doing my research on Portugal❤ it's one of the easiest , friendly and most affordable country to study, work and live in Europe. Thanks!❤❤
Bom dia. Thank you for the lesson. Muito obrigado. I hope to communicate with portuguese native speakers 😊 by the way, greetings from Lithuania. Linkėjimai iš Lietuvos.
Excellent video! I have never found it easy learning languages but this video is the best starting point I have found; interesting, useful and actually enjoyable. I am picking up the words quite quickly but really struggling with the pronunciation, especially the Portuguese 'r' sound! But thanks so much for giving me the confidence and belief to keep going!

I just love you guys. Can't wait to get back to learning after my other studies, that interrupted your program. It is so diffrent from anything i had seen before. Yes it is tough too, but it's as natural it can be and definitely not boring. I can't imagine how much work you put into this. Can't wait to talk to my inlaws and even get the passport eventually someday🙌
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled that you enjoy our program and find it engaging. Learning a new language can be challenging, but your enthusiasm will surely help you succeed. All the best with your studies, and hope to see you soon! 🙌
Hi. I just discovered your channel yesterday and it is very helpful. I will be visiting Portugal next year May! I have partial Portuguese ancestry from Azores, Lisbon, and Guarda based on genetic cousin matches. I speak conversational Italian and French and I used to speak nearly fluent Spanish. I think Portuguese will be challenging but I am eager to learn! I also think I will revert to speaking Italian or Spanish if I don’t know how to say something in Portuguese. When I was in Italy I would occasionally use Spanish words as I didn’t know the word in Italian! But I was understood.
Glad you like our channel 😊 it’s true that knowing other Latin based languages can make it a bit confusing as there are similarities but also significant differences that sometimes we don’t expect to find. On the other hand, it will also come in handy when learning Portuguese given the fact that some of the vocabulary is similar or the same! Also there’s many aspects in common when it comes to grammar 😀 My advice to anyone visiting Portugal is to try and speak as much Portuguese as possible (this will win you some brownie points with the natives) and any words you don’t know refer back to your other Latin based languages - it doesn’t work all the time, but it works often enough 😁 Have an amazing time in Portugal 🤗
Question: Does it matter which one i choose to learn when it comes to being understood the best in both countries? In Scandinavia for instance i think it's best to pick Norwegian (even tho im Swedish) if you wanna understand all the Scandinavian languages the best.
@@zoom5024 Portuguese people are more accustomed with the Brazilian accents and expressions than the Brazilians with the Portuguese accents and expressions. So for you to be understood by both countries, maybe the Brazilian variant is the best option. However, if you only focus on the Brazilian one you’ll have a hard time understanding Portugal’s Portuguese. It really is a decision you have to make - maybe consider where you’ll visit more often ☺️

Hi, I’ve just come across your channel and think your teaching style is great 😊 May I ask, what is the difference between “Por Favor” and “Se Faz Favor” ?
Thank you! 😃 Well, "Por favor" translates directly to "please" in English. "Se faz favor" translates roughly to "would you be so kind" or "if you please." However, the natives use both expressions interchangeably to make polite requests.
Hi good afternoon I'm Dipendra for Nepal and I live in Portugal I'm the beginner to learn Portuguese language so I I searched lots of youtube videos but I really like your teaching skills and the your briefing style thanks for your teaching, you are doing a great job 👍 you are looking so much beautiful stay safe and healthy thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Desculpe you should to use with people you don’t know, older ones and in formal settings. Desculpa you can use with family, friends, children - so in informal settings. They are both forms of the Imperative Mode, but desculpe follows the the pronouns você, o senhor or a senhora which may be omitted. Desculpa follows the pronoun tu. Hope this helps 🙂
