Hey Patter, if by any chance you read this I had to comment that today was a really bad day for me, I came back from uni and was extremely depressed, just wanted to lock myself in my room and forget that there is anything outside but as I started watching your video you really brought a smile and laughter to me today, I really love your content and what you do, thanks for everything Patter
that really takes me back i always had the dream of maybe eventually remaking sonic r in a modern game engine because the game itself, the atmosphere, it's so nice and i always loved how the collectibles and their unlocks worked, and how different characters had different abilities (and amy just having a car lmao) all making for a really interesting platformer collectathon funracer hybrid that just doesn't exist like that anywhere else because something like diddy kong racing misses the platforming aspect i just figured that what held the game back and left it in this memed on spot by the community was the frankly horrendous controls, you literally cannot turn corners at a reasonable speed with any character except tails so i always hoped that were it remade with more standard or just in general more accessible 3d platforming/racing controls it had the potential of actually being a really fun game maybe one day someone shall make a game that fills that void also i too have had los pinguinos me la van a mascar stuck in my had for the last few weeks
the controls are great, turns are easier with L and R, makes turns sharper. I love the controls of Sonic R, unless I have to rotate on the spot. My one gripe.
@@xofi. steering with the shoulder buttons may be easier, but still not great by any means if anything, that is the ONLY way you ever turn for the most part and its still kinda clunky definitely nothing close to what you would be used to from other racing games or platformers yes they are fine once you get used to them, i like them as well, after all they are part of the game but you can definitely see how the controls are unintuitive at best and at worst ruin someones first perception of the game, as they have for many
Man that was fun, but I kinda wish you had made it an actual game instead of a walking simulator which it was until you made it zoom too fast to see anytime lol

oh my god oh my god I'm freaking out for the Work it Out cover at 8:46, I totally recognize the drums are AI removed I did the exact same thing when setting up a cover and it has the exact same weird artifacts as the version I ran
@Rellusionist no clue, there are multiple websites now that let you split out stems. I wouldn't personally use it for more than a reference tool since it's never an exact science, but it's entertaining enough to use
