This track is a perfect example (of many) where most will simply “hear” the track but not understand the real context of Royce & EM’s verses. This song is good as a casual listen (the beat / chorus are amazing) and the verses have as much depth as the amount of time one is willing to put into breaking them down. Royce and EM make a surreal duo; I’d love another album from them. Great reaction / breakdown as always.. love your videos!

Namely the main reason I slept on his albums during that time, Independent's Day and Street Hop, though I heard the latter is a banger. Trying to go online and find hard copies so I can own his whole discography but I selfishly want the 2011 Royce back. He was the dopest then. But I get it people change. He just needs to stop this scam crap and apologize and then get to work on BME2 and reforming Slaughterhouse with just Crook and Joell.

The document shredder line was hard.. but today I listened to him rhyme the sound of spitting into the flow of a bar.. it was absolutely ridiculous. This is the first album in a loooooooooooong time that I bought, as in: a CD! And I haven't yet run out of patience with it. Love pretty much every song on it, (two "meh" ones, and at least one of those is still fun when the mood is right) and if I were forced to choose one (by gunpoint), I'd probably pick "Lock it". But that would be a hard choice, because MAN, there are great songs on this!

I didn’t catch that at all. Lol. It was even better considering I was a big ninja turtle fan, growing up. Like “Damn”!! Lol This track, I think is the best on the album. Anyone that doesn’t think “Em” is the 🐐, doesn’t understand his lyrical capabilities. When people first bring up, “Hi, my name is” I want to slap them myself. Just proves they don’t know his skills. Also, I’m wondering at the end of the track when he’s talking about Grizzly Bear, and not being able to make a flow, hit the kick in the snare. I was thinking if he was also talking about the rapper T Grizzley. I remember that dude saying that, in Detroit, that’s their style and he was saying “Em” kind of forgot about his roots. It was in an interview. But, I’m not sure. What do you think?
