Very appreciable step by Quint to go into the valley and talk to the locals. Something which every person who seems to have concern about Kashmir issue should take in account to. Every coin has two sides. We need to see and acknowledge the other side as well. However, the answers given by students do not manage to explain their stand and want very well. This could have to do with language disparity or a sense of fear or maybe something else. I wish for more ground report coverage by the Indian media in the valley and more transparent and honest answers by the Kashmiri's .

This is not true that Kashmiri students are beaten in other states of India..I live in Bhopal in Mp state and here we hai niit college named "MANIT".There are several students from kashmir and Afganistaan..They have never been beaten here they are just like other students of other parts of Country...They are kashmiri later but they are Indian first..
When govt and all party committee had invited for discussion, the separatists leaders boycotted the discussion.. maybe Kashmiris should choose better people to represent them, the people who actually intend to bring betterment of all the people and not just their family. Unemployment of Kashmir youths is due to Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba who thought only of their families. Some insecurity is every where and it is leadership who divides the people. Younger students should stand for political leadership and aim at developing its people. There are separatist elements and India must make rules that none can use offensive language in on Indian soil and be punishable stringently by law. Personal opinion in public should be acceptable to public not offensive against anyone on religion or region or color base. With change every four years in democracy of national leadership, everyone comes out with preoccupation based on party line of thoughts not on voters line of thoughts and expectations. It is time legally all parties must give manifesto in election process and work for it during tenure like jobs in public services. Anti national or separatists and terrorist tendency should be killed by law.

Old political leadership like Farooq and Mahbooba and Giuliani must be ousted from politics and younger encouraged and brought up to take up the challenges of future. Isolated cases of beating of Kashmiri anywhere in India should be punished and more funding allowed in less violent and peaceful states of India till professional colleges are constructed in Kashmir.

This is not true that Kashmiri students are beaten in other states of India..I live in Bhopal in Mp state and here we hai niit college named "MANIT".There are several students from kashmir and Afganistaan..They have never been beaten here they are just like other students of other parts of Country...They are kashmiri later but they are Indian first..

When govt and all party committee had invited for discussion, the separatists leaders boycotted the discussion.. maybe Kashmiris should choose better people to represent them, the people who actually intend to bring betterment of all the people and not just their family. Unemployment of Kashmir youths is due to Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba who thought only of their families. Some insecurity is every where and it is leadership who divides the people. Younger students should stand for political leadership and aim at developing its people. There are separatist elements and India must make rules that none can use offensive language in on Indian soil and be punishable stringently by law. Personal opinion in public should be acceptable to public not offensive against anyone on religion or region or color base. With change every four years in democracy of national leadership, everyone comes out with preoccupation based on party line of thoughts not on voters line of thoughts and expectations. It is time legally all parties must give manifesto in election process and work for it during tenure like jobs in public services. Anti national or separatists and terrorist tendency should be killed by law.

Old political leadership like Farooq and Mahbooba and Giuliani must be ousted from politics and younger encouraged and brought up to take up the challenges of future. Isolated cases of beating of Kashmiri anywhere in India should be punished and more funding allowed in less violent and peaceful states of India till professional colleges are constructed in Kashmir.
