Twas uploaded by a firend when my account was first made, Tiny Tim's cool though so i ahve no intention of removing it...yet?
I actually worked with Tiny Tim and I must say he was an encyclopedia of musical knowledge! And also one of the nicest people I ever met!
Oh lucky you. I was aware of his vast musical knowledge of the old era’s.
I wrote to him in/60-70’s.
I loved the guy. I loved his uniqueness. Would loved to have met him..got two biographies

Amazing!
I’ve watched this a number of times and don’t get why the audience laughed throughout Tiny Tim’s performance. If anything, I’d tip my hat to him for his ability to sing cleanly in a falsetto voice and play a musical instrument well at the same time. Being a musician myself, doing both isn’t an easy task. Although I wasn’t born yet when he was in his prime, I’ve watched quite a lot of Tiny’s performances. I believe that he was truly a very talented performer.
He would have been a sort of freak to many then. He knew what impression he gave, but needed to make a living.
I believe they are laughing because of the guy standing next to him. His reactions
They are not laughing to mock him. 🤣🤣🤣 Jeez, why people misunderstand everything, this is the reason why UA-cam is not for everyone because if your soft and narrowheaded you will complain everything.
Nah it's fucken weird, and that's fine.
Because he was in on the joke? He did this for laughs.
It’s a shame everyone thinks it’s creepy nowadays, while tiny Tim was probably one of the nicest guy in the business.

I sang the chorus twice and the second time instead of “if I kiss you in the garden by the moonlight, will you pardon me” instead of “pardon me” I sang, “will you marry me”
My new hubby was astounded and in tears..literally.❤️
We married 6 years ago and we’re seniors, so, both of us grew up with Tiny Tim! It was a lovely and special moment.😊

Hey vsauce Micheal here
He loved to make people laugh :) it was intended to be funny, he does not try very hard to hit the pitches.
Jagoda Tkalec indeed, I mean do you think this guy was dumb or something? He intended to be funny, it's not like people made fun of him and he didn't knew. He was a showman. Millenials tend to classify everything as "unique and different" -.-. The guy has a good voice, made a good funny gimmick that captivated their attention (that was his goal) and that's it. He's not "a genius born in the wrong era". Come on.
Fernando Macias yeah i totally agree
Hey vsauce Micheal here If he was offended by it then he probably wouldn't have continued to perform songs like this. Some people can laugh at themselves
ikr the guy was awesome very far from being a clown i wonder if that made him feel bad .... i hope not
like listening to old classic cartoon soundtrack, im instantly back to a younger me with happy & safe feeling. he is so talented, on of a kind
What an incredible voice x❤
The saddest part about Tiny Tim is, I always got the feeling that he never understood that people were laughing at him, not with him .
Bit like the idiots who laugh at the 'pub landlord' al Murray who mocks the working class and English and is himself a multi millionaire from a aristocratic background. He's a self loathing scumbag and people find him funny.
I think you're completely off base. He knew exactly what was happening and he used it to his advantage. To think otherwise is to call him a fool...and I really don't think he was.
Na, seems like from this video he knew what was happening but played along anyway.
I also think that was a lack of respect. his style is unique.
He was obviously doing this for comedy purposes.
He died a sad death. During his last performance, he passed out with heart failure, later dying on his hospital bed. His last words were "I am not ok...". It was 1996.
This is the reason he looks so pale in the video, also.
Sasha Bluffs he wasn't near death in this though.... so why would he be pale because of that?
pearlrabbit he was bad already :*(

I really don't know, fellas. Tiny Tim really just makes me smile. Nothing seems to fill me with joy anymore, at least not really, but just listening to Tim, no matter what I'm doing or how I'm feeling, I'm instantly filled with joy and love. He was wonderful, and so is his music.
I can completely relate theres just something about him that makes me smile....this is coming from an utterly cynical metal head
He was a genius
That's the spirit of him you are feeling. He was loved by many around the world for this. It's not the songs, they were a mere medium.

He could sing normally, too and had a nice voice. When he wasn't singing in falsetto, he usually sang in a slight quaver, early 20th Century style.

The reaction and joke the guy near Tim is doing, completely represents a person's understanding of Tiny Tim.
What i mean is, at first you mock him, thinking he is weird, then you laugh it at him, thinking he is being a joke, then you laugh some more at him thinking he isn't quite in on the joke, then you find it strange because a grown man is singing that way, and finally, you choose not to care and just go with it because Tiny Tim's songs are so innocent and childish, and harmless, that there is no reason at all not to enjoy it with gleeful naivety. :P
