Question number 5 is so damn confusing! I'm glad it wasn't just me who was flabbergasted at first lol
You should definitely do more of these! With open questions at the end for like 30 mins-1 hour so people can ask you questions they have on specific math problems.

They changed my SAT date to tmmr and I just found out today. I was literally losing my shit. But this is helping me remember stuff since online learning hasn't been helping me as well.
Utilize all available resources. I highly recommend downloading and working through the practice tests on College Board. You got this!
I am looking forward for this video!
Hope you liked it!
Great video as always, please make more like this one!
Thanks! Will do!

@Elite Ak Study as much as you can, try finding practice questions. I didnt see any if these questions on my SAT, I think mine was a 2020 version. Review your notes from the years before to help refresh your head!
How was it?
@Elite Ak just watch his vids (@scalar learning) and solve the problems before he does then check if your answer is right
This video really helpful.
For number 11, (x-1)(x+1) could be (x^2-1^2). So (x^2-1)(x+2) in -1
Thank you!!
thanks a lot, that's a great way to think about it.
Clever solution. I couldn't understand that question for the life of me good job spotting that solution.

For number 12, for the trick you used, can I cube for like a ratio question about the volume of a rectangle prism or any other shape besides a sphere?

Thank YOU!
I am taking my SAT test tmw! Ahhh I am checking out your vids, and hoping for the best. I was a bit confused on number 7. Would you be able to explain it in the chat?
x^2-10x+y^2+6y=2
the equation of center
(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2 (h,k) - center
so, use complete square
add (10/2)^2=5^2=25 and (6/2)^2-=3^2=9
x^2-10x+5^2+y^2+6y+3^2=2+25+9
(x-5)^2+(y+3)^2=36
and u get solution
(5,-3)
I love the SAT really great exam
So glad to hear! Thank you for checking out my channel!
To the 20th question, there is an interesting explanation: On both sides of the equation we have 2 functions and for them to not have the same "y" they should be parallel to each other. That is why k=1/2.
thx dude 🙏
nasıl gidiyor çalışmalar?
This is such a lifesaver, I take mine tomorrow and I gained so much confidence thank you

You can find the pdf on reddit!
I am so impressed about how fast you think 😭😭
Thank you
for number 2 you could just subtract 10 from each side then take the square root of each side for x=9
hey man , i just want you to make a video about ACT exams because i'm going to april trail and i'm so nervous .. i have watched all your videos and like it so much so please try to make a new one about ACT
It's on my to do list! Thank you for your support!
for the question 18, There is a way easier way to solve which is solving for x and if you do correctly you can see that you find exactly the same structure as the first formula of n and k constants.
Nice, thank you for the comment
For question 18 you can solve for x (easiest by completing the square)
x^2 - 2x - 1 = 0
x^2 - 2x = 1
x^2 - 2x + 1 = 1 + 1
(x - 1)^2 = 2
now we square root both sides
x - 1 = ± √2
(x = 1 ± √2)
OMG THANK U
@Johannes aha- idk even why i reacted that much, but great tip buddy
For number 7 on the step where you factor what happens to the -10 x and the 6 y? I'm a bit confused about this subject
I just had a question..
In the 13th q, the graph in option a appears to touch the x axis... wont that make the option wrong-- as exponential graphs don't touch the x-axis until infinity?
they nearly touches the x-axis but never equal to zero.. you made a good point but choices are correct somehow...
Great video, the calculator section would be great, my test is coming soon in April 13th
Same man, good luck for tmr!
@@allyaboc6773 thanks, sadly it got postponed to the 27th because of COVID, on the bright side I can now study more

Or there is no problem with downloading and taking QAS sats ?

Why did you write 27x^3 in exercise #12 no calc section ? Is it some kind of formula I need to learn?
For number 18 (no cal), how do you add a number and a square root? In the video, it was 1 plus or minus the square root of 2.
Hello how are you

@scalar learning why ain't u making video on August SAT 21? Pls do
question 18 was trippy. I thought you had to include the square root
Yeah, make sure to read the question multiple times to understand what they are asking for.
I did 4 past papers in the past 4 days and I am getting 50 questions right with 17 in the non calculator
Haha Its crazy how its not changing
I have SAT tomorrow, AND I'M not at all prepared. Bless me god.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will try to get to it!! :)
Where can I get a book of example tests or from previous years. (Only for math with and without calculator)
You can find on khan academy for free
Holy shit dude I'm taking more calc this year and this stuff used to be so hard now its sooooo muche easier, any wdvide I can give is doing harder math makes other math much easier I cant explain why but it does for sure.
Yo I'm not from America or anything but seeing SAT math questions, damn these were the exam questions we had in middle school from where I'm from WTF
So I did the international March 2021 sat 1 test I got 600 exactly but the thing is the March us no calculator test is wayyyyy easier I stoped before the questions and I answered I got 1 wrong but in the 2021 March international test I had 9 questions wrong in the no. Alculator sectiona and 8 in the calculator section the no calculator section was reallllllyyyh hard
Like I mentioned above...You got this! Continue to work through the practice exams and using all available resources to study!
what topic is question 11 coz that is the topic i am struggling in every exam
Please, could you explain number 11?
How do you do 11, I am still stuck on it?
it can't be d because 1 is the only positive answer. If you plug in -1,1,and 0, the answers you get are -2 and 0 so it obviously can't be those. now between -1 and 1, it cannot be 1 because the first part of the equation says (x-1), and if x is less than or equal to 1 the answer for x-1 will either be negative number or 0. a negative number times two positive numbers is a negative number, so -1 can be an answer. a negative number times two positive numbers can never be a positive number, so D is the only answer which could never work.
in simpler terms, if you plug in -1, 0, and 1 for x (because x has to be between -1 and 1) you get -2 and 0 meaning the y values have to be negative or 0. D is correct as it’s the only option that is the positive or not within -2 to 0.
For Q12 please explain the short cut again?
what is this!!! The paper I took in the SAT was so difficult and I remember the questions oh so international students have different past papers?
I think it's different too! I am an international student and indeed, the questions are different and were more difficult
Thank you for checking out my channel!
@@jungkookiie6821 omg i will never pass sat

Does anybody know is there any difference between US test and international test on SAT ?
The math section is pretty similar in the US and international SAT.
im doing the may sat and i got 7 wrong on this section. do you think its possible for me to improve my maths skills by the end of this month im aiming for a 2-4 wrong on the no calculator section ?
Absolutely! Continue to work through the practice exams until you fully understand each question. You got this!
why didn't u multiplied x by 1\4 while rechecking?
I dont understand how to find out what b can’t be in q 11
This may (or may not) clear things up for you. Because a is between -1 and 1, including both, if you plug in -1 you get 0, therefore C is out. If you plug in 0 (which is between -1 and 1) you get -2 therefore A is out. If you plug in 1 you get 0, but C is already out. From there its between B and D. After that it's simple (but not necessarily easy) to see that plugging in any number between -1 and 1 for x will never yield a positive number (QED, D is the answer).
Hopefully Kyle's explanation made sense!!
@@kylegopayviam1154 I finally understood it thanks
let me tell you I'm a Finnish 1st year student in secondary high (comes after 9 grades of primary/middle school) and these questions are easy as hell. From my research these are used as a way of getting into universities?
