    Hi there! Story time: my ENTIRE life, I struggled with Maths. Graded 3, 2 or even bellow. I have always felt stupid because of this part of me. But since the SAT has always been a dream, I kept pushing. After trying out many, many, different methods, I started watching these videos. Around a month later, I get a 760 on the Math section. I won’t ever have the words to thank you. I can only hope you see this and it brings a smile to your face. You have changed my life. No words will ever be enough. I’m being repetitive so I’m just gonna go now. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!

      I just had a Practice Test on Bluebook and I got a 1150 in total, 570 in Math. I'm never the brightest in class but I only have 2 months left fot the SAT. Do you think it's possible? How many hours did you spend a day?

    Thank you, thank you, thank you SO MUCH for your content. You are incredibly, absolutely, and definitely talented with explaining everything that comes out of your mouth. I've never come across someone that can simplify and explain math concepts like you can. I have the SAT in a few months, but because I'm in junior year, not in any accelerated math courses, and have a tendency to forget information, I don't know all(or any) of the things I need to in order to ~excel~. In fact, I colored in the A bubble on more than half of PSAT math questions as my well-refined and probability-centered guessing strategy (I swear, every PSAT math question was about functions, AKA my arch-enemy). Though, I've steadily been binging through your videos and taking notes on everything and I'm starting to understand math better now. You're my choice of weapon when it comes to fighting through the math on the SAT. Thank you again for everything you do. If you end up reading this, I apologize for the sheer length of this paragraph--it probably isn't grammatically correct or understandable either. If 'y' represents this year, I hope that everything gets > it. And I wish you a positive slope. Okay, I'm done with the math jokes now haha

      @dawsonreidmusic1573 2 роки тому

       @Shmrnt • Nothing spectacular. Some of us can watch countless videos and still not understand some of the more complex problems. When I mean "we," I refer to the average or somewhat above average student, the person not reaching the 1400s or 1500s, and obviously not a perfect score. It is crucial to recognize which concepts go completely over our heads, and thus, focus and master the ones that do not. Nonetheless, I wish you guys all the best. If I could give you one tip, I would say that you should be mindful of the types of questions you struggle with from the beginning and give those your best effort. Also, strive towards a score you can realistically reach, and do not compare yourself to others (It may feel discouraging at first to hear of your peers who ace the test more swiftly than you could imagine). Anyway, I am already applying to colleges, so it is not like I can go back in time, but I hope this helps.

    I have a question, in Systems of Linear Equations Substitution are we ignoring the negative sign? I thought the 6x and -2x would've been 4x. Am I doing something wrong?

    1.Variable isolation
    Inverse ( opposite ) start by the outside-in
    2.Linear Equations
    y=x
    Critical values: identify slope (monthly fee) and y intercept ( 0,y )
    Initial payment, the x intercept can be called zeroes (x,0)
    Slope intercept form y=mx+b
    point slope form y-y1=m(x-x1)
    Standard form ax + by=c
    cancel out fractions multiplying sometimes by denominator and not reciprocal
    3.systems of linear equations
    Substitution to find x or y values if given two slope intercept (y=mx+b) to find point (x,y)
    Elimination System: given two slope intercept (y=mx+b)
    multiply/divide one eq to eliminate the x, then plug the x value into a (y=mx+b) to find the y value
    4. Inequalities (the < and >)
    Isolate to solve
    One rule: when you divide or multiply both sides by a negative, you M U S T flip the inequality sign
    example ( if you divide -3x > 3 , by -3
    you MUST flip the sign to equal x < -1 )
    5. Graph Linear Inequalities
    Inequalities with the >,< need DOTTED lines
    inequalities with a _ under the >,< are SOLID lines
    another point : shading for linear inequalities
    Comment your notes!

    think there's a minor mistake at 8:50 with the graph - as you've drawn it it hits the point (3, 2), not (2, 3) as it should and as it's labeled. Very helpful overall though!!
