    for q21, if the angles weren't 45 or 30,60,90 triangle could I still pick and choose C because we would use trig right?

    • @tempest1913
      @tempest1913 2 роки тому

      Yeah you don’t need to have one of those special triangles to figure out the length of AB. You could say cos(angle ABC)= x/25 and you could get the answer from there.

      Component B is 25% of the whole thing
      25% of the whole thing is 1
      25% is a quarter, so you need 4 quarters for the whole thing...
      Therefore 1 × 4 = 4

      The question is asking for which of I and II (individually) could be used to find the length of AB (including all the given information already).
      If you are given I (length of AC), then you can use Pythagorean Theorem to find AB.

    how did u know that the mean will increase in question 23

    • @jwmathtutoring
      @jwmathtutoring Рік тому

      Because the value that is being added to the table (62) is greater than all of the existing values (46-53). Therefore, the mean will have to increase because you are adding a value that is larger than the current mean (which at most could be 53, but is actually less than that).

      The line drawn is the line of best fit. So it is asking where the line predicted less than the actual points on the graph ( which are the dots). If you count the number of dots above the line it is 5.

    • @jwmathtutoring
      @jwmathtutoring Рік тому

      "line of best fit predict y-value that is less than actual y-value" means identify the dots that are ABOVE the line because the dots are the actual values. If you count them, there are 5.
