I took my first SAT in May and got a 790 in math! I felt confident about an 800 but I guess I messed up somewhere. This channel is so helpful thank you.

@@pranavgsk3770 khan academy and youtube videos. Make sure you know all of the content and then just practice as much as you have time for. Write down the problems that you get wrong and routinely review them all

Did you have any courses or tutors or was it only a self study
I got a 580 in math section which was my first time taking the sat(December) the curve was so bad
Each wrong question got 20 points

Hmm..so for the number 15, because it has to do with exponential growth we can't say it increases right?....we must say it grows...hmmm.thanks so much 🙏..(please correct me if I'm wrong)
I think the more imporant thing here is that the fact that it factors by 1.11. That means that it multiples with 1.11 instead of getting added by that

In number 11, how did you know how the graph of y=2^x looked like?
You don’t even need to know what the graph looks like to answer the question. It was probably just a rough sketch. The graph of y = 2^x has a y-intercept of -1 (since if you plug 0 in for x you get 1). The graph shown is just shifted down 4 units (y-intercept is -3) so a is 4.
I took this sat and got -11 on the math which is not bad I got a 660, but for the next one Im going to try to only get -6 wrong and at least a 720!!!

how did you know that you had to turn that expression into its rational root in 18:55?
Personally, I like to turn any disgusting root expressions into rational roots when possible, its usually easier to calculate.
This doesn't apply to all questions, but most of the time it works.
Because the rooted expression is equal to x^6 (rational or exponential form), you need to turn that rooted expression into rational form. Then you can set them equal once they are both in rational form.

i put 100 for 17 why is it 50 I thought that its half an hour
25/.5 = 50. Dividing by .5 is the same as multiplying by 2 and 25 x 2 = 50.
