@@12footchain you can sing his guitar solos - he has several ( x>3 ) all time riffs to his credit….totally agree that he is overlooked. He’s a flamenco guy playing an SG at thunder clap volume….pretty cool
Well-stated comments about Robby K. I have often felt that he flys under the radar as far as 60s guitarists go. Interesting style that fused very “earthy” traditional blues licks and phrases with psychedelic dissonance using eastern musical influences. He was never a guitar hero in the sense that most know, but a creative influential player nevertheless.
This was great - thank you! You know, the older I get, the most interesting Krieger's playing becomes. For example, his solo on Moonlight Drive is truly remarkable - a melodic and chaotic use of bottleneck slide that goes up and down the entire fretboard, and fits perfectly in what is a pop song. Who else was doing that at that time?
you are so right about Robby Krieger. My favorite guitar player for the last 50 years.
So so so great! Thx for going w Krieger to show that new SG. No one sounds like Robbie and thank God!
He needs to be in the conversation more for rock era guitar greatness

LOVE that solo! Same reasons, so great.
What amp are you using
I used my '90 Custom Vibrolux and Tonemaster Deluxe (ran stereo through both - though I panned both to one side like the original recording mix)
@@12footchain Thanks, great playing!
