Frank im rewatching. i bought some yum hellgramites from amazon tor 3.50. got the mid smmer night color .they look real good.i kniw ur a nikko man but i wanted to tell u about the yum just for kicks. i am wantingbyo try in the river asap but will wait till this heat wave 😅is over
Love those Nikko baits. Me and my son was on the greenbrier river today and caught right at 30 smallmouth on the 3 inch Nikko hellgrammite. Love the content and keep up the good work
I only use Nikko hellgramittes here on the Gauley and New river. Start early in the year with the 3 inch and by summer I upgrade to the 4 1/4 inch. Obsidian and natural usually do the job, but I have multiple colors in both sizes. The quality of Nikkos lures are unbeatable and all they do is catch fish. Just started watching your videos and you go a subscriber here.
You have to try the River Rock jointed jerkbait and hellgripede. The jointed jerkbait will crush the smallies in small rivers and streams. 2/0 finesse wide gap from gamakatsu and nose hook them.
i bought case plasics hellgramites.a few yrs ago.grn ppk, blk nat.5 bags there not as cool lookin as nikko but they look like there gonna work.fish usa has them i saw.most hellgies under rocks in rivers are under 3 inch and that dk olive brown shade
