Thank you for the honest review. I have seen several reviews on this rifle, all have been very positive. Not really sure you had to defend yourself at start of video, certainly for me you didn’t. Most of us customers understand that the MFG reps, whether is you AOA, Utah Air guns, you might be a touch bias. That’s why you put it on video to prove it, which IMO, has certainly been done. I have bought 2 of these a compact and a STD, have not shot them yet. I think the price is extremely fair for the features and performance. I see comments saying we want simple and cheaper, those rifles are out there so go buy them. Again all I have seen is positive. Thanks for the complete review.
Involved or not I appreciate your honest and through review👍👍 Im looking forward to trying the setup with the adjustable transfer port. Very interesting feature. Waiting for the RP in 177 with a slug liner, but they are much alike in many ways. Take care PJ 🙂
I appreciate the transparency about the limitations/quirks. Everything has them! If I was going to pull the trigger on a semi-auto, this is really the only one I’m interested in. Only thing I don’t like is the fixed bottle. That said, 300 bar fill is legit. Other than that, I think the design/function is pretty sweet.
I’ve been asked about a bottle conversion. With a 300 bar fill on this tank I don’t know that you’d gain a lot. Maybe lose a few ounces. It would certainly up the price. I’m not sure it would be worth it.
Think this would be a great rabbit hunting rifle! We hunt mostly with dogs and the rabbits don't stop for any length of time usually. The semi auto would be great for shots in the brush because sometimes the shot doesn't make it through the first time! Looks to be well thought out and built well. Thanks for the review PJ 👍
Meh, no. Industry people, stop building these over-engineered nightmarish rifles with more moving parts (and o-rings) than a 'Swiss watch'! Build us a simple, lightweight hunting rifle with a high quality, dimensionally correct bore, a quality trigger, and no shortcuts on overall manufacturing! That's the kind of rifle the large majority of airgunners world wide want! But PJ, thanks for the review non the less.
Hey buddy great video the Leshyi 2 is the same as for not pulling the trigger slowly and the one thing with the Leshyi 2 people have alot of problams with is indexing, and yours isn't having problams with that which is great. But both guns are very sweet.
I think this was a very fare and honest review. To be honest, I've never really been a huge fan of match triggers and like the look of this one. However, I do like a trigger with a first and second stage. It does seem to be well built, but again, I'm not fan of folding stocks, as there is always another possible weekness over time. Some quirky in use possibilities do not make it look like an instinctive rifle to me. Again, something only experience in use can avoid possible errors. The main no no for me though is the magazine, this is old style and only really seen on cheap rifles. It looks to be accurate, but there are too many negatives for me to even think about adding one to my collection. A bit of a shame, but I wish you well.
Thanks for watching, and for your thoughtful comment. What to add to a collection is a personal decision and I respect you being selective in what you add to yours.
@@jdlucasnc @shooter1721 just posted the following… More testing with the new Karma SLS .22 cal standard . JSB Knockouts 20 gr .216 are a laser!!This group was only 35 yds just because the target was sitting at 35 yds. And at 889 fps I’m happy with that FPS. This group was shot in semi The group was a legit one hole group. The post was on Facebook. Sorry I don’t have time to test every combo.
Nice👍 But again, I'd love to know the fastest SPEED that the airgun can shoot a particular weight of pellet please🙏 Without that up in the air foot pound energy crap that too many lames like to use, thanks.
In ref to the reg pressure (velocity) dropping across from full fill to reg pressure, what’s causing this? For my type of shooting which is mostly long to elr these velocity drops would be a big deal unless I’m tethered
@@jdlucasnc the short answer is I’m not sure yet. The tunes we developed and the shot strings they produced, which led to the performance numbers we’ve published keep velocity within 94% from top to bottom. Within a magazine the variance is in the 10-20 FPS range, which is good in the 75 and under ranges. We also did our development using 250-270 bar fills, and there’s tighter consistency with fuller fills, but I wanted to publish numbers that were more likely field conditions. If you are going ELR and can, I’d tether regardless of the airgun. If I couldn’t, I’d refill often. There’s a reason they don’t allow tethering in 100 yard Benchrest. With all that said, the SLS was designed for semi-auto fun and fast follow-up shots at shifty targets. I think it does that very well.
I recently noticed from a graph on Airgun Detectives Airgun video on the AEA SF that from 4500 to 2300 a loss of approximately 100 fps. That got me thinking about what you had said about the Karma SLS. I’m just researching before I purchase. I do know it’s not a full blown LR Airgun but I sure like it. If it’s a reg issue I’d hope it would be resolved though. It appears you are addressing it. Thanks
I can’t help to assume that the regulator in the AEA SL is probably the same in the Karma sls and that there is an issue with the regulators. ua-cam.com/video/SJaUI3UZJd4/v-deo.htmlsi=IqSI-QBBqaCV7dZJ

There are a limited number of factories in China who are able to manufacture weapons. Most of them manufacture for multiple companies. There are design similarities between Karma and a limited number of shared parts (off the shelf items like tanks) but Karma specifies the tolerances, materials, designs and assembly processes. When you work with a manufacturer the success of a project will hinge on the development and management of the relationship, how the product is spec’d and who can use the newly developed parts/designs. AEA is a different company entirely.
