First off, being an old Moddy Boy and mentioning the previous comment, can't go wrong with Lyle and Scott 😀 I think trying to convince people of value is sooo difficult...everyone online is an expert!! Have followed since they released the Honey Bee, and I agree totally on paper they represent a serious contender to Studiounderd0g....unfortunately Rich has the advantage of being flavour of the month, showcased by many " influencers"... And your video will always reflect that with the usual " for that money I can get a CW, watermelon, etc etc "
Movement is solid. The case reminds me of the C-shape Omega Constellation circa mid 60’s - mid 70’s. The dial is Bauhaus, which is interwar period. The font, primary shapes and colours. They both looks great on their own. But as a package it just doesn’t appeal to me. That said I wish Paulin all the best as a brand. Independent watchmaking is on the rise. I do hope they’ll find their customer and continue innovating. Then one day there might be a Paulin watch for me.
Am I right in thinking thats a Scottish T-shirt you’re wearing? I was on the waiting list with anOrdain for sometime - I think those dials are the point. appreciate the quality paulin are showing, my only thinking is that’s a very tough market. £990 is not bad for that level of quality.
Thanks for reviewing, I quite like the case, and movement, but the dial looks like a child's first watch. The hands are way too short, lack of minute markers makes the quality movement superfluous and I hate the way the printing at six extends up into the depression for the small seconds. By the way, fitness tracking devices don't improve your health and I suspect will encourage neurotic behaviour, better to enjoy our health while it lasts.
I’ve tried both brands in person at wind up watch fair. Paulin was literally trash compared to studio underdog. No comparison. If you’ve tried timex, that’s the quality of paulin.
It's funky, and I like it, but the price leaves much to be desired. I could get a great-looking Christopher Ward for that price. I agree with your $500ish price point.

Haha yes it's a Lyle & Scott! I hadn't made the connection until you mentioned it...good spot!

I actually think Monceau offer more value and exclusive interest 😜
it needs sapphire
Nope, don’t buy either. I have a Paulin; cute concept executed poorly with QC issues and unremarkable case finishing.
The sponsored section shows a rider (in the yellow kit) who is sponsored by and wearing a Richard Mille ..just saying
Yep...it's Pogacar. He rides for Team UAE and is sponsored by RM. Also uses the Ultrahuman Ring Air in training.

A no from me.
Looks too much like a kids watch and the price is asking a lot for that.
It says "Walt Disney Productions" on the case back
Not going to get confused with Pierre Paulin, nope, not at all.
No ;)
