    Anyway, I believe it's already a game-changer for instant cameras😊

    I bought this recently and it came with a type c charging port! So I guess they’ve upgraded the newer versions.

      Yes! I realized this right after shooting. But it’s great news with the usb-c port. Still doesn’t help with the internal battery, but glad that they made the upgrade.

    Thank you for the video!
    I have seen a couple before this and none mentioned the battery not being replaceable. I was pretty close to getting one for my partner as a birthday gift, but now I am hesitating...
    This camera seems so good too!! I'll look into what people have to say about the overall battery life of this camera.

    • @erinolearyphoto
      @erinolearyphoto  10 місяців тому

      Wow! I’m surprised no one else mentioned it. I’ve had the camera for 1.5yrs and use it pretty regularly. The battery is pretty good and I don’t charge it very often. The only downside is if you’re Shootings with it as opposed to printing images from your phone the battery will die faster bc of the LCD screen. Good luck with your decision!

    Do you have to print the pictures first on the camera to be able to share it via Bluetooth to the phone with the app?

    • @erinolearyphoto
      @erinolearyphoto  Місяць тому +1

      Yes, if you want a frame around it etc. and want to send it directly to your phone through the app.

      @@erinolearyphotothank you for getting back to me. I appreciate it. Don't really want a frame around it each time. Will I be able to take the memory card out, or attach a cable to transfer to the phone or computer and still get the same effects that I took with the camera?

    • @erinolearyphoto

    If you use one of the pictures you've taken by opening it on Instagram, does it keep the outside border (that you would get if you printed the picture via the camera) or can you remove that border and just have the actual photo to upload?

    • @erinolearyphoto
      @erinolearyphoto  2 місяці тому

      You can do both. There is an option to save all the photos that you took and printed directly with the camera so that they have the iconic white boarder around it, meanwhile, you can also upload the image file directly from the SD card like you would any other digital image file. I often save the printed images with an invisible background (though there are a few options), this way I can put several images in one Instagram story. :)

    How many shoots does the battery last before having to recharge it?

    • @erinolearyphoto
      @erinolearyphoto  4 місяці тому +2

      It lasts a really long time! If you use it continuously on a full charge it might only last a few hours, which is what happened to me when I was photographing the Berlin Wall. But with normal use, I find I use it quite a bit without having to charge it very often. For example, I probably took it out 4 or 5 times before having to charge it again. The longer you keep the LCD screen on, the faster the battery will die (same with using it in cold weather), but if you turn down the brightness or turn it off when it’s not in use, it should last a good amount of time.

    Love mine, bought it in October, but already have to send it to Fuji from a printing issue leaving white streaks on film. Takes surprisingly decent photos for how tiny the sensor is though.

      Happy to hear you’ve had a great experience with it! It’s such a fun camera! Did you try cleaning the rollers? I know that’s a thing with polaroid and I think I had a similar problem once with Instax, where something got on the rollers and was causing a problem. Just a thought. Good luck!

    • @nathansstuff1547

      @@erinolearyphoto Believe it might be an issue with the LEDs that shine light on the film since it's always the same spot, but I'll definitely try cleaning the rollers too.

    Hiya love this review it was super helpful and Im really considering buying one, I just have a few questions if you don't mind answering.
    1. Does the camera automatically focus?
    2. in terms of the lens and film effects, im guessing you can preview these on the screen before hand? are you able to add these effects once the picture is taken?
    3. How long would you say the battery lasts, for instance using the camera on holiday, outings, parties etc... for a few pics at a time?

    • @erinolearyphoto
      @erinolearyphoto  2 місяці тому +1

      Hey!
      1.) Yes, the camera automatically focuses. Sometimes you can do a bit of manipulation if you hold the button halfway and focus on your subject and then take the picture really fast. I mostly do this if I'm trying to make the image lighter or darker etc. But I haven't had any major focusing problems. There is a slight delay between pressing the shutter and taking the picture.
      2.) Unfortunately, you cannot add the effects to the image after you take the pictures, but you can zoom in and crop, or print the image lighter or darker if you need to. Also, if you print directly from your phone, there are a few creative options like changing the image to black and white or sepia tone before printing.
      3.) For casual use, the battery is pretty good. When I take it to parties or other gatherings, I almost never need to charge it for a single day's use. The only time I had this problem was when I was shooting the Berlin Wall and was shooting continuously with the camera for several hours, but that's the only time I really ever had a problem.
      I hope this helps with making your decision! If you have any other questions, please let me know. :)
